The second violin was not quite ready when the piano starts.

As a musician, it's amazing how lovely they play despite being so nervous! Yes, she looks nervous, but who doesn't? I am absolutely amazed at how beautifully they could play despite being so nervous. Imagine the shaky bow! The performance was amazing. One of the most beautiful interpretations of this piece that I've heard!

Solid phrasing and pacing. For me, as good a performance of these Dvorak "Pieces" as others that I have heard. Thank you for the video.

I agree, this video is one of my favourite renditions of this series of pieces. Bravo to the musicians.

let's enjoy the performance and thank them for performing and keep the negative comments to yourselves. Musicians do not spend enough time appreciating what others do and too much time criticizing. Most of us could not perform even close to that well. It was delightful, if you don't like the interpretation then go out and play it yourself, post it on youtube and send us a link so we can see how much better you did. If you can't do that then be quiet!

Excellent! The Gavotte and the Polka should be played lightly tho.

Outstanding performance of this amazing musical tour de force. This movement is to Brahms what the Chaconne is to Bach. Thank you.

It's relationship to TNG makes it all the more moving for me. This, however, will always remain my favourite musical piece from the series watch?v=2JG3erMmHCE. I hope you live long and prosper, too :)

Live long and prosper, my friend. Now, whenever I hear this piece I can't help but associate it with Ambassador Sarek of Vulcan from Star Trek. Moving enough to bring a Vulcan (albeit it, a very ill one) to shed tears.
