Hi, Does the container seal all without the vacuum device? Most containers have clips on the side. My intention is to bring it to work but it defeats the purpose if the container (left overs) doesn't seal properly without the vacuum.

I visited this amazing castle in 1966 in the days when the German currency was in Deutsch Marks. I don`t remember an entrance fee then, but perhaps the bus tour I was on, from Stuttgart which also visited the University town of Tubingen, may have included the fee for castle entry. The restaurant in the castle was also very affordable then also and I`m glad to hear it still is, and hopefully as good as in 1966. I have great memories of the trip and I suppose a reasonable castle entry fee will not deter visitors and help to maintain this great German legacy into the future. This is a visit place !!

The max temperature on this kind of device (including this one) is way too low. It fits perfectly only the foods that are to be prepared around 130-150 deg Celsius. The meat mostly boils and steams rather that have any Maillard reaction, rendering the steak rather tasteless. The explanation is simple, due to the PTFE coating of the aluminium, the max teoretical achievable temperature ise below 200 deg Celsius, otherwise, the coating will start coming of.

When I first bought the grill it lasted about a year. After that it went bananas and stopped reacting to button presses. I only used grill like 30 times in total. I got a new one and I haven't used it much but it doesn't seem to grill chicken very well. For some reason mine turns into rubber even if they are defrosted before grilling. Besides that I lack the possibility to set a desired result so it alerts when that happens. Else it just plays that tune when it's cooked to well done. For me the result when grilling meat could be a little bit more grilled on the surface, but I guess that's how it is when using electric grills. It's a good product overall.

We got the elite version but after a couple of years the non stick coating starting peeling off in large pieces. We never used anything abrasive on it, only dishwasher.

Strange. I bought the Anker Power Solar flex 3 port 24w model. I try charging any phone during peak sunlight and the charging sequence is constantly interrupted. Charge on charge off charge on charge off. Every other second it seems. The battery depletes faster when plugged in to the solar panel versus if it was just sitting on its own.
