Ilia has crisp, solid, boxing style where Max has more color in his boxing or kickboxing style, which I think one of his biggest advantages in this match. Ilia has grappling skills, but I just cannot see he submitting Max. Max's head coach is a grappling professional with black belt bjj more than 20 years, so of course he is very well rounded as well. Because he loves strking we get to see less grappling from him. I think it all comes down to can Ilia adjust and adapt to a fighting style which is unique to Max,and how good his cardio when Max puts volume on him with great muay thai. I believe Max gets it done 4th 5th round with a decision, tko,ko by any means necessary. Front kicks, body-body-head and 1-2 combos, thai clinch, circling away from the power side are money.
