Just took apart my 2005 r6 and got her running. Did valves, new timing chain, guards and tensioner as well w some other goodies but This video helped me so much man thank you for making this. The only thing I did differently was got me some block off plates and it saved up a ton of space & time when putting stuff back together 🤙🏼

Shifting to early. Hold it until 9100. If that R7 doesn't have a full exhaust, intake, and ecu flash then it needs it.
@FuzedBoxАй бұрын
The R7 is not a three cylinder; it's an inline twin. Personally I'd take neither. Twins are boring and R6s are the most gutless of the 600 class I4s.

Every 5000-6000 miles!!?? Sounds like a lemon. Had mine checked at 42,000km/26600mi (as recommended in the manual) and they didn't need any adjusting. Currently sitting at 75,000km, so next check's coming up, which I'll probably use your videos to do the check myself, this time. Noticed in your previous video you said not to bother with adjusting the throttle bodies if one is having idle issues. I definitely disagree. Mine was idling just like yours in this video, but then I did the throttle bodies and it's been perfect ever since. (If you're gonna do the them, though, get a good measuring instrument. I borrowed my friend's Amazon Special, which was one of those 4-gauge clock style set ups. It ended being a very, very finnicky tool to work with. Was a shining example of one time use product dumping.)

The 2006-7 GSXR'S have a lot of electrical issues. On the 2008-9-10 the front light was changed on those years and they look nice What really gets me is that the prices in all of them manufacturers are just about the price of a new one. If you good mechanical go for it...and be happy with what you get. Am doing research in different years on the 600's...that's plenty of power. Am new in the riding adventures and just try to buy the proper bike ...but then again nothing is proper. And the saga continues... I watched your video for the length of time...got my popcorn 🍿, my drink, hotdog and my notebook to get more info to learn about different brands. Safe riding Much blessings 🙌 Ty for the video. 🏍🏍🏍😎😎😎💪💪💪

What was the result of your research? I bought a ninja 500 new and have a few thousand miles on it. Starting to look at 600s. Thinking I want to go used for bike #2. What would be your pick between gsxr, r6, zx6r, and cbr?
@ppg19782Ай бұрын
@Opossumoto IMO the gsxr is based on a race platform very comfortable. Pretty fast. There is no much technology on Sukis very plain. The Zx6r the technology is sick...but as too much technology and humm... I don't know about that.They are very comfortable bike as well..like both. The only thing is clutch wears out fast...it feels blah. The R6 I sat on it..I was not comfortable at all. Honda is underated...is pretty good bike also the seating is comfortable. But. If I would choose between all of those.. Suki Zx6r Honda R6 ( is also for the track) You have to actually take a piece of paper and compare the specs. That depends if you want to modify and how much modifications you want to change and for what purpose. Track or street. Well, so far that's what I have been researching. Am not ready yet for a purchase..but most likely it would be a 2015/2017 GSXR 600. Many riders have their own experience as in the track and on the street. Just need to learn sometime about the mechanicals so like that you could fix your own bike. Everything is a learning process baby steps with knowledge and better outcome. After all a bike is not an investment but a wonderful fast toy Safe riding brother Much blessings 🙌 🏍🏍🏍😎😎😎

@@ppg19782 man ive been doing my research and just saw this comment. I've been thinking 2017-2020 GSXR... Why do people talk down on gsxr riders? I see memes and all sorts of stuff talking shit on GSXR riders lol
@ppg19782Ай бұрын
@Opossumoto remember back in the day Suzuki won just about every race platform. Then other manufacturers started to make their bikes better perhaps. I like the gsxr 1000...sweetttt.. But you'll kill yourself. The 600 is plenty of power. Even youtubers like Yammie bashes out gsxr's...he talks and talks and talks... Each to its own my brother. After all you are the person riding YOUR BIKE and no body else's You have to be happy with your bike...if you are thinking because of ppls opinions about..who gives a 🤬🤬🤬 I think on 600 on the later years started with Brembo breaks. Anyway bruh...just be happy with your purchase, enhance it, for your persona. Safe riding brother Much blessings 🙌 🏍🏍🏍💪💪💪😎😎😎

So that's why my engine braking is so hard, the 07 CBR is my first step into the super sport world so I've just assumed everything is a superr sport thing. I have noticed she can SNAP pretty hard if I give it too much throttle and pop the clutch. Definitely see how people can clutch up so easy on these things!

So you’ve made your complaints well-known. (Sorry the throttle made your wrist hurt). We all know this electric motorcycle was made with little to no quality control. Off the shelf SiAecosys parts available to the public were put together on this frame to make this motorcycle. I got 2700 miles out of mine so I figured $2/mile is what I spent before the controller burned out. Storm Sondors screwed us. Some more than others. So what’s your solution? Are you going to modify yours to address these problems? If so, it would be helpful if you shared the solutions. This electric motorcycle is a novelty. The company is completely out of business now so you’ll have to fix problems by yourself. Also why do you compare this motorcycle to internal combustion engine motorcycles?
