I had my cerclage at 23d weeks and the doctors already warned it is 50_50 chances of getting it successful as the cervic length was only 1.25 cm with u shaped funneling .i was put on complete bedrest only went for bathroom breaks and only sit at the time of meals,but the cerclage failed after 2 weeks of surgery. The membranes came out in the vagina and had preterm delivery. it was my second pregnancy. In my previous pregnancy i lost my baby in the 6 th month due to preeclampsia .
