There's been many things around Windsong that have been broken for years. Very little ever gets fixed here.

They should do that in the San Joaquin Valley of California people would love something like that here. Fresno and Bakersfield area and so much room to build - the lakes in the foothills do pretty well.

1:14 This was my opinion 8 years ago, but it is no longer the same today. I still live in the community, but this video represents what it was, not what it is now, to me.

Very helpful. Thanks WSR. And also my wife and I really appreciate the free kayaks on Tuesdays for 60+ in August and would love to see this continued at various intervals throughout the year. We did have to explain it each time to the Bearfoot guys, but that was really no problem. How about a free PaddleBoards for 60+?????? Love WSR and all the great amenities. We moved 1500 miles to be here and we are loving it.

donjuan914 they have it filled back up now. There was something wrong with the construction and they had to drain it and redo it. However, It still is not open for use.

It’s open now. There was an issue with the liner and the builder did the right thing and fixed it.

It's a resident only feature, but there are plans in DFW area to build some public versions of these in the next few years. This Saturday there is a public viewing, where you can walk the Lagoon grounds (but swimming isn't permitted that day). They are then having a big public fireworks and 4th of July celebration at the Commons in our community afterwards, with food trucks and lots of activities for the kids.
