Thanks Clint. I got a bunch of fishing gear off my dad yesterday and had a crack on the low tide turning point this morning. I managed to get 1 yabbie in about 500 pumps haha. I can see where I was potentially going wrong now. Thanks

Why do no tackle shops in Australia stock USB rechargeable aerators? Had to buy one via Amazon. I've always used a damp rag to keep Yabbies, though I've heard wood shavings/sawdust works well. Also a small foam esky is a good idea when it's hot. Always found they go soft and mushy in water with aerator. I'd be a bit dubious about the ink from the newspaper.

Good info bro, thanks for posting, now I know why i lost a third of mine overnight and I only had about twenty, enough for a session, plus I use squid strips this was for whiting fishing. I'm hoping to keep the rest refrigerated and if need be frozen for berley session (loose feed)

Hey mate, Nice Vid , I have been fishing a fair bit lately and got a heap of snags. Wondering what type of line you would recommend for me? will sometimes fish of the piers in the Poineer river and catch some bream, cod and also like to go out to Seaforth for some more land base fishing and I usually will catch whiting out there!

Just wondering about which yabbies to take, heard that you shouldn't take the one's with eggs under them. Is this correct or can you take any yabbie you pull up?
@tackleworldmackay15702 жыл бұрын
yes you can keep egg bearing yabbies (Trypaea australiensis)

Great vid. How do you attach the rig to your leader? Or should you run a trace and put the snap through the tow point?
@tackleworldmackay15702 жыл бұрын
You can run a wire trace with a snap clip but I crimp a 150lb mono leader to a number 7 split ring a put the split ring on the tow point
