Hello there. Looking for a 2007-2008 HONDA ELEMENT SC FRONT RIGHT HEADLIGHT any idea, where can i find new or used one in a good condition. any tips would be appreciated, thanks.
@DashnCars2 күн бұрын
Honestly I bought a set of black housing 07-08 Headlights off of Ebay about 7 years ago. They've been amazing and were under 100 bucks at the time.

Love this car build, how did u do the lift? Thanks for the inspiration
@DashnCars2 күн бұрын
Thanks! This was originally on what's called the "Junkyard" lift. If you search Junkyard Lift Civic you should be able to find some pretty good resources. I have a video of my first lift on my Civic Wagon that has a pretty good parts list of how to do it. I believe the video is called "Dash's Civic Wagon Lift: My Setup"

Awesome videos! Can you give the size type of the BC coils and what are you using for the actual strut shocks? Is it OEM thanks.
@Ernesto-te7oj23 күн бұрын
I just picked up an 03 with 163,000 miles overall half decent shape all stock now I’m ready to stiffen up the suspension doing something because it’s a little soft
@DashnCars22 күн бұрын
I actually bought these BCs back in 2014 or 2015 I believe. One of the first batch of coilovers they shipped for the Element. They are the full coilover and 14 way adjustable, I believe.

Suspension components are going out because of our shit roads that look like IED riddled roads in Fallujah. We have money for other people’s wars but when it comes to maintaining our own infrastructure, politicians ignore them because they are chauffeured around DC and never see the condition of our roads.

I have a 2003 AWD that pa bought new, I got it when he died, thanks Pa! Still under 50,000 miles, all its needed was a coil, oil changes and I had the valves adjusted last year just to check. I have an appointment to replace bushings next week...

My father has a 2006 and it has been pretty good it was losing coolant, and it turned out to be a warped head but had it machined and no problems since. Being a Wisconsin car, the body is clean of car cancer. Although some of these suspension components are a bit rusty. I always wondered if using some dynamat or even some automotive carpet would quite things down some.
@DashnCars4 ай бұрын
Might be worth a shot! A lot of modern cars use felt and other materials to calm the road noise down a bit. At the end of the day, it's a giant box pushing through the wind. It'll be noisy unfortunately! Glad you're dads 06 is doing good!

@DashnCars5 ай бұрын
Hey! I would join up to the Civic Wagon Facebook groups and ask there. I see some European wagon part out posts every so often. I'm sure you could get one shipped from the US/JPN/AUS but it would be pretty pricey.

4 more years until I can hopefully legally import one of these to Australia. Everyone I talk to hates them, I cannot wait to own one. I fucking love them from everything I've seen. In Australia, nowadays, to import a vehicle you need approval and it needs to be over 25 years old. I bought a Jackaroo/Isuzu Trooper instead of importing an Element when I found that out. I still want my element.
@DashnCars5 ай бұрын
Oh that's awesome! Yeah it's not too much longer until you guys can get them. Crazy that the US market was really all that got them. They really are a lot of fun and super practical. Good luck, it'll be worth the wait! Send me a a Civic Beagle!
