Still wasting Adobe's $1 billion investment on little cosmetic changes that nobody asked for. Integration of transcripts/transcriptions/subtitles would be a bare minimum start to your promised workflow integration.

I'm kinda put off by the pricing structure. The storage is small at every level and costs can add up. I think Avid's way of editing on a seat in the cloud is a much better approach. After media is in the cloud there's no need to render and upload to share. They just have to look at your timeline.

How do I upload in 9:16 for my client to also be able to download the content in that format on their end? I export my sequence from premiere, and it defaults to 16:9. Absolutely absurd that frame io doesn't care about Android users. I was worried when Adobe bought them, but at least I figured a large corporation like that would want to take advantage of the largest mobile platform in the planet. Why don't you care about your users, frame?

But why no android app? Plenty of creators use android phones and the webapp is horrendous.

Why not focus on the aspects that are clearly broken? The Premiere Pro and After Effects extensions are just terrible, to the point that successfully uploading a series of videos is close to a miracle. This has been happening for years and the worst part is that even the customer service isn't aware of many of the features, so they can't provide any help. These are very basic aspects of the service that need to be revamped.

I love how Apple has raised the tide of production value for companies around the world. This video is a huge knod to Apple event presentation style. Good work Frame IO team!

Surprised that automated transcripts/captions wasn't included in this update - seems like a natural next step for improved search/metadata, and it would make leaving comments so much faster, rather than scrubbing around within an video to find a specific line.
