Returning to my home country , north east france . Walking through the old castle , gun fires made their marks in the stones . If the mountains , forests and fields could talk , there would be so much said .

I watched these pictures all the time, they are sad and I think of the destruction that was caused by evil Hitler. I fear this could happen again (WW3) unless America continues to hold a military foothold in Europe. America paid for the same piece of real estate in World War 1 then World War II . We don't need to pay for it in the third war started by Putin or anybody else.

Just ghosts and memories now for those who pass these ways.
