So knowing that Justina herself is hard of hearing, the entire thing is even more impressive. The way she picks up every single beat and detail and vibe of all the songs and can interpret them so vividly and sharply and with such energy would even be hard for someone with crystal clear hearing! I would absolutely love to get a deep dive into how she prepares to interpret for an event, especially one like this that is a live medley and not a song you can just go get in one piece of Spotify or something to practice with

As an ex-interpreter I think I just saw the best I’ve ever seen. I never heard of Justine but wow, she is truly an amazing and wonderful interpreter. It’s almost like she is performing her own songs. Beautifully done and I’ve never seen better. Edit: after commenting I googled Ms. Miles and see that she is a deaf interpreter. That makes it so much clearer for me. Still the best! Doing such a great job interpreting songs while deaf, just amazing!! I can’t wait to see more of her.

I love that she interpreted the same word in different ways instead of saying for signing the same thing over and over again I was mesmerized and I watched it until the end. I love it when people actually interpret and not just sign.

Crazy how I'm tearing up watching this even more than when I watched the original performance live! She clearly not only loves what she's doing, it takes such skill to radiate and share her joy as part of her performance and service.
