I am a birth mother of 2 extraordinary young men. I conceived them in sin and I knew I sinned but, I repented of it. I don't believe in abortion. My children deserved a way better life than what I could give them. I had the luxury of choosing to have a fully open adoption - having a large participation in their lives after birth, semi-open adoption - where I had some, not all, participation in their lives, like sending letters, pictures of me and I could recieve pictures and update letters from adopted parents uptil 18 years old & then, there was a closed adoption to where I had no connection with them at all until and unless they came to search and find me. I chose semi-open adoption so, I could have a sense of security, knowing their growth and developments in life. The first meeting with them was when they were real young - as a 3 year old then later, at 5 and 2 years old. It was a nervous time for me, not knowing how it would go down. Then, a few years later, we all met up again when they had been told the truth about my identity to them and all was ok. Both are out of high school and doing good in life. They make my heart smile, hugely! ❤️

Maybe it's different these days. My adoptive parents as well as my birth mother were older when adopting me (in their 40's). I'm not sure something like an open adoption was possible those days. The only thing I knew about my birth mother was her name and age. For many years I didn't want to get to know her, bc I was angry she abandoned me. I'm 56 now, so she won't be alive anymore. But I wish I knew my / her story.

In some situations it is a good thing but still the best would be if families, churches, and communities would be to support birth mothers.

I loved loved loved this movie. There are many people out there who want kids but can’t have any. We need an awakening for those who want to abort and need them to choose adoption. We seriously need a revival in this world. If my parents and thier dr wasn’t Christian I would have been aborted. Bit God is still good, He had a plan for me, my parents wanted a girl and they had me , but I came with disabilities. But again God is good. I can function like an average young adult. Life is so precious, life is so wonderful. God bless you all. Never stop sharing your story.

This happened because your "stunt coordinator" was a hack. The only safe part of the skydiving scene was the actual skydive where he was strapped to my chest. In my 24 years of professional skydiving and stunt work I have never seen safety rigging more negligently handled. That man should be stopped before he kills someone. As far as the rest of the staff, actors, directors, producers, and so forth they were an absolute pleasure to meet and work with.

I was adopted as well. Even though I was not happy with it, my mother, who adopted me, said that when I was shown at her home, she knew I was the one for her and she knew God was telling her to adopt me. After watching this inspiring real-life movie, this made me tear up. I AM a gift from God and I will always remain a gift from God.

This would be an absolutely fantastic movie, if they would just remove all the religious crap from it. Would be about 30 mins shorter and easier to stomach. You don't have to believe in god to believe in humanity. god will never get a capital 'g' in my lingo, as everything it doesn't do proves that it doesn't exist. Humanity created the idea of a god, only we can destroy that, and the sooner we do, the better we will become.

No, reality is better than fiction. God is the heart of this true story. Why are you bitter towards God?

@@garywilliams3419 yes, do you hear yourself? You think reality depends on what you know. There are a lot of things that exist that you haven't discovered yet.

@@VictoriousSage We agree to differ, I won't put any faith in anything I can't prove, THAT is a waste of the few short years of life we have here. I see miracles in everything around me that I can feel. I have never needed to be 'instructed' by cults as to what I should believe in. Whatever happened to you, I am sorry for. The Human Race is (very) slowly growing up, in about 500 years there will hopefully be no 'gods' left. Good riddance to very bad rubbish.

@@garywilliams3419 Belief in God doesn't mean you belong to a cult. Why such animosity towards a being you don't believe in? Do you feel the samr about spiderman and his following? Sheesh.. We'd never make breakthroughs in science if we didn't first have faith. Science is still trying to find the missing link. I am glad that what we have in common is that we aren't blind to the miracles around us. Including the miracle of time, space and matter, which were proven by scientists to have a beginning. Obviously, nothing comes out of thin air. Someone living outside of it, must have created it, in order for the universe to exist.
