So, the «expert» dr. Lindsay starts his talk about Marx by making fun of Marx’s writing, making rather a point out of the fact that Marx wrote «in one word». But not stopping to ask whether it might have something to do with the English translation. After all, Marx did not write in English. The original text uses the German word «kurz» which translates best as «in short». Not a good start.

At best, Harris comes off as someone who was DEI'd up to a puppet, middle-management HR position in a third-rate company, and her boss's bosses see to it that her far more qualified and competent employees do all the real work, while she shmoozes with the other puppet, middle managers, and sucks up to the people higher than her in the chain-of-command.

Who is advocating for all businesses to be run by the government and every person at the same economic status? It certainly isn't all over social media. DEI can exclude and go too far, but forcing Christianity down people's throats is also going too far. Societies have tried punishment and ostracism since way back when to solve problems. Show me countries where the observance of only one religion stopped power grabbing, money grabbing, prejudice, and exploitation of people with less power. Show me REAL negative impact of people making their own choices about religion, how they see themselves, how they want to live their lives if the system doesn't penalize them for it. How does it impact YOU if they follow a different religion or don't follow one, if they choose a different way to live than you?

It is odd, I am Jewish, and I am well aware that Cultural Neo-Marxism is a Leftist ideology that is in and of itself highly racist and Antisemitic. How like the left to deflect, project, and accuse others of what they do themselves! I have followed James's work for many years, and like Boghossian, Pluckrose, and a great many others, he has the Marxists figured out and exposes the double-speak, sophistry and mendacity in their rhetoric perfectly. Together with Islamofascism, the current ideological bedfellow of our primary subject, Neo-Marxism constitutes the greatest existential threat to humanity, particularly in the West.

He's correct. Hitchens had a debate in like 1985 and took the socialist side (of course), and literally said that socialism is like a family structure. This is a common Marxist notion. The problem is it's 100% wrong. A nation is not a large family. On top of this, a family is not socialist in any real sense. Most of the time, it's closer to capitalism, and sometimes a kind of dictatorship. You often hear the phase 'this is not a democracy' for a reason. Just ask the women under the Soviet boot. Many of them revolted. Rightly, they didn't want their kids taken away. They didn't want to literally share a large 'common blanket' or bed with everybody. They wanted their own kids, their own house, like most humans throughout history. It's true that the Vikings and such often had one large house for the entire settlement of 200 people or whatever, but this was very different -- and there was still an understanding of the king and the family units, not a single family unit, and a faceless leadership (or, in the case of Russia, simply Lenin, then Stalin). It's creepy -- but these were creepy men, and it always has an odd sexual element to it. These types of people are witches. What they mean is, 'I'll be the strong mother of the family, and you'll all do what I say, and I'll treat you like my children and everybody will enjoy it. I'll make you fat so that there's more meat for everybody'. That's what they really mean; hence, the phase and real Maoist ritual of 'eat the rich'.

## The Marxist Threat: A Story of Infiltration and Subversion Source 1 tells the story of the origins and evolution of Marxist thought, emphasizing the threat it poses to Western culture. It frames Marxism not just as a political or economic theory but as a dangerous and deceptive religion seeking to supplant Christianity. The story unfolds across four main "chapters" or movements: 1. **Classical Marxism: The Seeds of Revolution:** This part sets the stage by outlining the core tenets of Karl Marx's thought, particularly highlighting the conflict between oppressor and oppressed classes, the abolition of private property, and the goal of achieving a classless communist society. It emphasizes that Marx viewed suffering as a catalyst for revolutionary consciousness and religion as an opiate that dulls this revolutionary fervor. 2. **Cultural Marxism: Conquering the Culture:** Recognizing the limitations of Marx's call for a worker-led revolution, the story transitions to the emergence of cultural Marxism. This movement, spearheaded by thinkers like Antonio Gramsci, emphasizes the importance of infiltrating and transforming cultural institutions - family, religion, education, media, and law - to undermine capitalist hegemony and pave the way for socialism. The concept of "organic intellectuals," workers educated in Marxist theory who can relate to the masses, emerges as a key strategy for spreading revolutionary consciousness. 3. **Critical Marxism: The Power of Critique:** The story then shifts to the Frankfurt School and the development of critical theory. This movement, influenced by thinkers like Max Horkheimer and Herbert Marcuse, posits that since envisioning an ideal communist society within the framework of capitalism is impossible, the focus should be on relentless criticism of existing societal structures. This constant critique, aimed at highlighting inequality, oppression, and the shortcomings of capitalism, becomes a tool for advancing Marxist aims. Marcuse, in particular, is identified as a key figure who sought to integrate Freudian psychoanalysis and Maoist ideas into Marxism, laying the groundwork for sexual liberation, identity politics, and the radical student movements of the 1960s. 4. **Woke Marxism: The Weaponization of Identity:** The narrative culminates in the emergence of "woke Marxism," which draws heavily on the ideas of cultural Marxism and critical theory but adds a more explicit focus on identity politics and social justice. This movement is characterized by its emphasis on lived experience, intersectionality (the interconnectedness of various forms of oppression), and the dismantling of traditional hierarchies of power. Key concepts like "repressive tolerance" (the idea that tolerating opposing views is itself a form of oppression) and the "long march through the institutions" (the ongoing strategy of infiltrating and transforming institutions from within) are presented as evidence of woke Marxism's insidious influence on modern society. Throughout this historical overview, Source 1 emphasizes several recurring themes: * **Deception and Infiltration:** Marxists are consistently portrayed as being engaged in a deliberate and deceptive campaign to undermine Western society. They are accused of using seemingly benign language ("diversity," "inclusion," "social justice") to mask their true revolutionary goals. * **The Subversion of Language and Truth:** The source argues that Marxists manipulate language, promote moral relativism, and attack objective truth to create confusion and weaken resistance to their agenda. This tactic is particularly evident in their critique of traditional education, which they seek to replace with Marxist-inspired pedagogy aimed at indoctrinating students. * **The Spiritual Battle:** The narrative frames the conflict with Marxism as a spiritual battle, with Marxism presented as a dangerous and seductive religion seeking to supplant Christianity and upend traditional values. Source 1 ultimately presents a story of a persistent and evolving Marxist threat, one that has adapted its strategies over time to infiltrate and subvert Western culture. It urges vigilance against these deceptive tactics and calls for a defense of traditional values and institutions against this perceived ideological assault.

Interest and informative lecture. I struggle with black intellectuals who are solely speaking to white audiences whether they’re conservatives or progressives, and audiences that clearly lack diversity of thought to challenge the speaker. I also struggle with this notion that things would’ve been great if we had just left well enough alone after the civil rights movement as if we had a consensus about what fairness should look like. Nothing is further from the truth. The civil rights movement was rammed down the throat of the majority of Americans because most white Americans didn’t want civil or equal rights and that has been the cause for more and more laws trying to enforce what we all know is how God intended us to live by trying to be fair and just towards each other and all of God’s children, all of whom are made in His image.

1:11:55 "Everything is downstream from education, except for family" No! Even family is downstream from education. Pre censorship, censorship, and liberatory tolerance even effect the family. Eg "It is morally reprehensible to have children because of sustainable issues with the planet and consumption." And "it is 'anti-social' to 'work' for the betterment of your kin/children at the expense/ambivalence of other's children" I wish that critical theory wasn't able to effect the family, but it certainly does.

I assume he means, family itself isn't from education -- it's from the home. But we'd have to see about that. I saw something recently. Politics is downstream from culture. Culture is downstream from race. I think this is typically true, and there is strong data evidence for it, and most of history seems to prove it, as well. Of course, family is part of the 'culture' element of that framework. Note: Something else in there is personality. People vote based on their traits, values, and feelings. That is partly culture and partly race, and part genetics external to race (based in sex/gender and otherwise).
