That was Judo throw. Judokas sometimes put themselves in a bad position with a throw that wins in Judo but backfires in grappling.

Love the bow and arrow. I use to put my knee inside that gap for some serious pressure. But issue i found was thar they had that brief moment to slip the head out. Doesn't stepping up do the same?

Yup, they can. You are correct. So timing will be key. We usually transition to a reverse triangle when they start defending by moving their head. I believe I have a short that demonstrates the transition.

Great technique. Scissor sweep is my favourite sweep but sometimes bigger opponents have too strong a base. Definitely going to try this.
