I love Ivry Gitlis but I can't stand the sanctimonious tone of this film.

I want to formally appologize for any imposition remarks I made to take care of Mr.Gitliss Stradivari. I do not wish to cause concerne that I might be after Mr. GITLISS Stradivari . I have a wonderful instrument of my own and am content. My remarks were based on covetness and I am sorry for my sin. I have only recently learned of Mr.Gitliss passing. I appologize to his family for any worry I may have caused over his violin. His instrument should go to his next of kin or whom ever he appointed in his will or the state. Again my sincere appologies to Mr. GITLISS AND FRIENDS AND FAMILY. MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AT THIS TIME OF YOUR PASSING.YOURS VERY TRULY CHARLES CHRISTIAN EBBESEN AMATEUR VIOLINIST.CCE/CCE.

Hi! Loved the tiny doll like sound comming from your Stradivari. If youve no one else to leave your violin to I would be happy to take care of her. Shes like a shy little girl the voice not unlike Shirley Temple or Bernadet Peters the voice of innocence.I hope youl have many more years hbappy together. Im sorry I was rude. My sincere appologies.

Why is life so devalued today money lust, greed, rushing about so the beautiful things, the simple meaningful things are tossed aside all for the search of ego, power, status which at the end of the day keeps people stressed unhappy and melancholy.Myself a traumatic life with lots of heavy burdens and grief but music has saved the day and emersed in the classics I found my true peace.Ivry Gitlis was just one of my absolute favourite maestros GOD BLESS HIM.

As David Stern said these Masters when they played there was something magical… everything was perfect! I truly believe that this BIG MASTERS were enlightened by God, it is a Divine force working through them, like if it expresses a thought of God to heal our poor souls. Only God could give those perfect inspirations, they were truly chosen people!

Really hard to believe that this man lived another 12 years after this.... He is the LAST person whose advice I would ever heed about the art of violin playing. People tell me that I sound really good, so...maybe what I'm doing works. I have never heard a recording of his that appealed to me. And his performances give me an equal amount of chills. And not in a good way. His playing always sounds like he's running late for a train or plane...or automobile (Uber?) One of my old teachers had a better way of saying it - "Rushing to get to the red light."
