Metallica is a hard subject to treat for me. Let me just explain : I'm 52 and I discovered them at 11 when my parents bought me Ride the lightning ( I was at the time I was fond of Maiden) and it was a shocker. Till this day I worshipped Metallica. Posters of them filled my room for years. Then when I was 18, The black album was released and I felt betrayed. Death and Metallica were my gods and Metallica was the god that failed (😆). So I can only rank the first 4 albums. Of course I listened to all their albums but the flame won't burn again for me. With time I appreciate some of their songs after Justice but only a few not even enough to do an album. So my ranking will be : 1. Master of Puppets (Orion, The thing that should not be and Welcome home are my faves) 2. Ride the lightning ( Fight fire with fire, Trapped under ice and Ride the lightning are my faves) 3. And justice for all (Dyers eve, Blackened and One are my faves) 4. Kill'em all ( Whiplash, Phantom Lord and Hit the lights)

@@techdeath3609 I can totally empathize with you and get why it’s difficult to like anything after and justice. The fact you discovered them with Ride changes everything, I did with the Black.
