I think that the Cle de Peau The Foundation is for drier skin. I didn’t apply my sample with a puff, but used a buffer brush, so the result, for me, was good. However, the foundation became more oily as the day went on. It’s not for me and my oily combination skin. However, I do really like their Radiant Fluid Foundation and mix the matte and radiant formulas together. It looks better as the day does on, not worse. It’s a foundation for cooler weather, though, as I think it feels heavier in warm, humid weather. As for primer, I like the Sisley Perfectionista primer. It’s expensive, but a tube lasts for a year. Ah perfect timing! i was wrestling with which formula i wanted to try from this brand. My poya wishlist is very full right now and needs a diet (poya is a beauty and lifestyle chain store in taiwan) but ive seen so much from the brand but they all look like a glossy tint or blurred lip in a lot of different forms 😅.

I'm not Asian, but I have light olive skin tone as well and I love K, J and C beauty for this reason, The tones are beautiful!

I would love a review of the powder foundation. That would be great for oilier skin. I love the CDP cleansing oil and softening foam. They don't dry out my skin and remove makeup really well.

Ah i get you. My pores are on the larger side too. I have a hard time finding foundations that dont look disgusting on my skin (my skin is also very thin and peels like crazy bc its super dehydrated but oily 😢) rn my favorite is the bobbi brown skin foundation is my favorite but honestly rn nothing works super well. Ive just been dabbing on some of the canmake trio solid concealer and calling it a day 😅. Thats great stuff i mean it still does catch on my peeling undereyes but not super apparent and it looks pretty good on acne too. The price defs looks like it magnifies any problems a foundation has.

I've also heard from others that the CDP Foundation in the tube oxidizes and is too peachy.

I love Timage especially the beautiful and elegant packaging. I have almost all their products except lipsticks and face powder and foundation. I find the products convenient for travel and good for everyday uses. The blushes and contour palettes also double as eyeshadows for me as well. I seriously need to make a taobao acct so i can buy samples.

Curious to see what you will think of the nuse blush! I brought their matte mousse and found that it was matchy to blend on my skin and I couldn't layer it. I wonder if its an application problem? Or skincare layering underneath? In anycase its saad lol, love the colour and my other liquid blush don't cause me trouble like that

Shu Uemura does not sell foundations in the USA any longer. They sell a very limited range of products like their cleaning oils on their US website, but no foundation at all. And we can't buy anything in stores.

I love the coverage and how thin it feels on the skin. But seriously cannot handle the pungent fragrance I can smell all day! It emphasize texture and doesn't sit well in the pores on me, maybe I should try it with a different primer given your experience. Suqqu is probably still going make my skin look healthier. Favourite foundation video suggested by other comments sounds like a really good idea.
