I guarantee that’s what ref was seeing when he blew whistle. However, it’s not illegal if he caught the ball off the dribble while he was mid air. Then it’s just a right/left cadence upon landing.

No they were good we would of won if that was clean because they said it was a travel

I’m sure ref saw the odd cadence, right foot to right foot and blew whistle. I’d argue by the time he gathered it he was mid air and landed right then left, which is of legal cadence. But just sharing what I’d bet the ref was seeing.

In no way shape or form is that “up and down”He never stopped and established a pivot foot. I’m sure the travel was called for taking consecutive steps on his right foot. Now I think he may have gathered the ball while both feet were in the air in which case he can land on either. But he may have had right foot down (or at least ref thought so) before taking the next step on the same right foot.
