Also. Theres no way Alexis fell down the stairs, if she did he would have lied and just told the cops it was an accident and she fell and died. Why didn’t he? Bc he “graped” her or suffocated/beat her and he knew he had to hide the evidence, if anyone seen her body he would have been done for. No intelligent person would have went as far as he did and cut someone to pieces if she just fell

I agree. I have a photo of those stairs. There is no way a 14 year old girl would break her neck falling down those stairs. My own opinion is that he grabbed her around the neck and broke her neck that way.

@@CarlK90245So incredibly sad what her final moments must have been. I truly hope Brenda is charged before she passes. I feel like during this court date she slipped up a few times when “recalling” what happened and she says she remembered him and her were arguing, how can you remember them arguing before they fell down the stairs if you were not there? I bet she was downstairs on the couch with the baby and just sat and listened to what was going on upstairs. And just let it happen.

Did they ever pulled Brenda’s official work schedule from her job? To prove whether or not she was at work that day or an accomplice in Alexis coverup?
@CarlK9024511 күн бұрын
I'm sure they didn't then, and 30 years later, the records are probably not available anymore.

@@CarlK90245 That’s a shame, I wasn’t home maybe some kind of proof of paystub or if her job had her swipe in. Did she even have an alibi that would have said she came into work that day? An ex boss or coworker? I just feel they didn’t really dig into Brenda’s credibility, she gets away with a lot of I don’t knows, I don’t remember, or I wasn’t there but no proof to back that up. What a frustrating case this had to be for you and Cathy.

Hi Carl, How did you get into this area? I was at Evergreen Cemetery the other day but couldn't find a way to get in to this area, which I thought was Potters Field, but I wasn't sure.

The entrance is on first street.

The entrance to the parking lot is right next to where the metrorail track on first street enters a tunnel.

You can't get into the county portion of the cemetery from within the larger adjacent Evergreen cemetery.

Supposedly she was last seen at the old truck stop on the North side of Huntsville. The one on the north bound service road, beside the truck wash (not the Pilot on the south bound side)

How did motorist find her body. I don't think it would be that easy. Also I've travelled and this freeway has a lot of traffic even if she was dumped at 3am. Cops drive by and can't believe no motorist saw anything.

I talked to Detective Bean a few weeks ago. I had always heard that she was near the culvert, but Det Bean says that she was likely a little bit north of the area that I filmed, and close to the highway. He said that there was no culvert nearby in any of the photos that he has of the crime scene. His best guess is that she was near where mile marker 123 is posted today. Back in 1980, I-45 was only a single lane in each direction. Since then, they have widened the highway to two lanes in each direction (4 lanes total), landscaped the shoulder. So the exact spot where she was found is probably covered by the pavement of the right-hand lane of the northbound side, or slightly to the right of the pavement.

Carl K So the whole finding her in the culvert location was a mistake this whole time?
@CarlK902456 жыл бұрын
Yes. She was in the same general vicinity as the culvert. But not in the culvert. Probably a hundred yards north of that culvert.
@HiThere-jd5ir6 жыл бұрын
Carl K If the truck driver threw her body outside of his truck, wouldn't it be next to the culvert? I think he probably carried her and placed her north from the culvert

@@HiThere-jd5ir nobody knows if a trucker did it or not. There was a trucker that found her but to my knowledge he was never a suspect. This is indeed a very sad case. It has been on my mind for a very long time.

This case haunts me terribly, and I don't know why. So many questions, so much makes no sense. To have a life be snuffed out at such a young age, it's hurtful. The number of unidentified persons, just like the number of missing, is baffling. There have been many rule outs by law enforcement. I actually submitted a possible match on the Doe Network for her but never heard anything back so I'm assuming that was not her. Somewhere out there is a family member, a friend....someone remembers her and maybe doesn't even know she is gone and are going about their lives thinking she is ok. No matter how private or secluded a person you may be at some point in your life you touch at least one person in a way that they always remember you; even if it was only a brief encounter. Someone knows who this girl is, they likely don't know she is dead, or maybe think she is still missing and maybe for some reason a MP report was never filed. Someday she will get her name back. It may not be tomorrow, this month or this year, but it will happen.
