Luke and Reid work well because they have good communication skills. They still don’t like each other but they are starting to see how protective they are getting of each other. Luke protects Reid’s career because it’s important to him. Reid protects Luke by putting Noah in his place and telling him off.

I think Reid is the right man for Luke. Partially because he appreciates Luke’s efforts and actually takes his feelings into consideration. Noah didn’t take Luke’s sensitivity serious when he ends their relationship when Luke kissed Brian. He hurts Luke every chance he gets and one more rejection from Noah and Luke would choose Reid over him which already happened.

Reid protects Luke like he protects Katie. Even though Luke is his boyfriend, he still defends him. I admire that.

I love this show! Reid, Luke, Noah, are the greatest characters! I hope the actors that portray them have been successful and are still working. If possible, I would like to write a show containing them all! ❤❤❤

The last 9-10 months of this monolithic show were a disaster. Why, oh, why couldn't they have done this a few months earlier, so we could be spared this nonsensical storyline. Luke used to be a character that drove stories... not a prop for some newbie character. A character that essentially became a plot point for the often recast Chris. The Luke/Reid pairing was a chemistry-less bore.

As someone who grew up watching Luke on As the World Turns I find that the older I get the more I realize that Luke and Reid were the healthy adult relationship. Luke and Noah were the slightly toxic and obessessive relationship that you have in your young adult years. I just read fanfic about Luke and Reid and pretend that they are living happily ever after somewhere.

Noah had no right to hit Reid, he cut Luke out of his life so when Reid started to feel something for Luke he was no longer with Noah so this cocky and self centered selfish boy named Noah had no reason to hit Reid

Noah behaved like a perfect idiot with Luke, Reid was a thousand times better and he was not an immature child like Noah, he was an attractive sexy sarcastic man who should have stayed with Luke but the fucking writers of that soap opera decided to kill Reid surely to please masochists Noah fans I'll hate them forever
