Nice review man! Wasn’t too crazy about the production on Exhumed Information but this new album sounds like a nice balance between that one and Tropical Sun to me. A ranking of albums from a specific bands would be interesting. I dont see you mention much of the bands from New Standard Elite catalog and they have a ton of new stuff that could use some reviews (Despondency, Regurgitated Entrails, Submerged, Internal Suffering, Necrotic Infibulation, etc..) Most have that raw early 2000/late 90s sound. I also would like to hear your take on the BDM scene from different countries. Colombia, Indonesia and Italy has some of the most relentless bdm bands but i rarely ever hear you cover them, unless i missed it.

Some excellent modern death metal gems there. Deicide's The Stench of Redemption is the only one I recognized. One of Deicide's stronger albums.

That decrepit birth is cool, though I truly believe related band Odious Mortem especially the second album beats the hell out of it!

for me what comes to mind for this sort of early 2000s death metal are SUTURE carnivorousurge to kill DIABOLIC infinity through purification BLASTFAME abstract evolution MALEVOLENT CREATION envenomed FUNEBRARUM beneath columns of abandoned gods NOMINON diabolical bloodshed (very different from all the subsequent releases)
