I think if what you really want is the healing ability that these weapons have, the Great Stars is a better choice overall (especially if you put Prelate Charge to enhance the healing potential). Also it's much easier to get two of these than both Butchering Knives, if powerstancing is desired. But yeah, Great Stars look kinda dull... And you nephews know that Fashion Ring is high priority for me.

I personally dislike the scadush fragment/revered spirit mechanic of the DLC. I would type an essay here on why, but I prefer to make it short by just saying it feels unsatisfying going after them and also not justified (to me). I may in the future make a video about thing I really like and dislike about Elden Ring, so I will leave this topic to that future video.

Not only it's blue, but when an enemy doesn't drop anything the golden runes come out of them when their body "collapse" on the ground. But when they are going to drop something, the blue runes come out much earlier! Also this difference in color is unique to Elden Ring. Older FromSoftware games we have to wait a few seconds to see if the enemy is going to drop something.

It might be the Carian Knight's Sword. I only found about it when I was finishing this video. My next video is about hidden abilities of weapons, so we will find out soon enough if there are more weapons that have blocking moves. Also thank you for watching my video, nephew!

Nice! When recording for this video it took me around 40 minutes before it dropped. And I had maximum Item Discovery. Now you can have fun with the beautiful shinny sword, nephew!

Yeah, the incantation leaves a lot to desire. I also tested the Spirit Ash and the birb is really good. And the Horned Warrior one is even better!

In the event a player, wants it pretty early in the game, and use it for the majority, if not the rest of the play through. I play through the whole game and by the middle of ng+ I only had 3 without any farming. So for you to have 20, I would think you have done many playthroughs with the same character. Lol

No, I haven't, but there are a ton of omens everywhere. Sewers like 8 down there. Outside Lindell down by the wrecked caravans, another 3 or 4. Etc. If you actually play and explore, you'll die enough times to farm everything. But the primary reason this is dumb is because the cleaver sucks way better weapons even early game.

@@Sortie_Inc.well you did say die a lot. Not acting like I’m the greatest but, I didn’t have to redo those areas so much to get that many. Nor did I have to back track. And I don’t run through the games either on any playthrough and I always get everything and explore. Because that’s how much I love the games, but just saying with doing all that, I’ve never gotten that many for one character, only 2 at the most and it was by very late game. I do like this weapon and when I want to use it on a character, I make sure I farm her to guarantee.

Yes. And it is still the best spot because the DLC doesn't have evil skellies.

Yes, he drops all armor pieces. All Black Knights can with the exceptions of the ones that are bosses. Both times I farmed for this armor set it took me a while to get the gauntlets. So if you're not getting one piece is because Fromsoftware is trolling with the player. Again.

I understand people saying that they would like for me to show more stuff, but the thing is that I made this video for players on their second playthrough that want to get their characters stronger ASAP for the DLC. Even though I considerer that the viewers knew what there were doing, I also made very clear in what they're supposed to do, like "grab the fragment and then lose aggro of the enemy or sit on a site of grace and fast travel back" and not "ring Messmer's doorbell and go in like its your mother-in-law's house".

Doing exactly what I did does not block any quest, but it does advance a lot of them by moving some NPCs from their first location to their second, so you might miss some dialog. Just make sure to not kill any boss not shown in this video. If you want to make sure, exhaust all dialogs from them at: Hornsent and Freyja (fragment 4 - 1:54) Sir Ansbach and Moore (fragment 5 - 2:20) Thiollier (fragment 10 - 3:28) Leda and Hornsent (fragment 15 - 5:03)

​@unclemjer Look, I understand you put a disclaimer in the video, but how are you going to expect people who are new to the dlc to immediately know they're going to need not 1 but 2 guides for one video? Your video is about the first 31 fragments you get BEFORE defeating a boss. It'd make more sense if you put all 50 and then linked your video since it really seems like this is catered to new players.

What do you mean? You HAVE to farm for the armor. And even the swords are easier to get when farming the armor because it's the item with the highest drop rate (4%) from the Divine Bird . The only two things that you simply find as a loot are the incantation (that unfortunately is really bad) and the spirit ashes of Ornis (that is one of the best in the game).

Where else do they spawn? Using this spot wasted silver consumables, since you have to fast-travel back after each kill.

Hmmm... it would make sense to make a video that shows all fragments location rather than a continuation of this one, where first I show how to get these fragments that doesn't require killing any boss. In this video I show 8 more fragment locations. The remaining 11 are located: - 2 after defeating the Golden Hippo boss - 5 in the area after Gaius arena - 4 scattered around Enir-ilim
