Dear future me, Today is November 10, 2024. Just over a week ago, I lost contact with a girl I deeply cared about. This sent me into a downward spiral, back to self-destructive habits I thought I had left behind. I started smoking again and fell back into gambling. These choices have only brought me health issues and financial problems. I’m writing this with the hope that these dark times will pass. When I read this in a few years, I want it to remind me of where I once was, and how much I’ve grown since then. I hope this period will be just a small chapter of my life-an experience I had to go through to become the person I am now, reading this.
