Storming Heaven opened my eyes to what was happening all around me in the 60’s. After reading the book, I would visit in my business travels a few places Jay wrote about such as the huge warehouses on the Fort Mason shore in SF and imagine the group consciousness fueled by LSD that happened there. I presume Jay will never finish “Burning Down the House” and “Consciousness Wars.” Too bad but life moves us somewhere else. I wish him and Sara well and urge folks I meet to read “Storming Heaven” if the encounter merits its mention. I encountered a college student studying the 60’s as I was checking out of Healthy Living in South Burlington and I recommended the book. I hope she reads this jewel that Jay created.

This man has an incredibly unique guitar style, Country and Funky. His picking is crazy.

Due to the advent of corporate gator farms the price of hides for the locals has dropped significantly, resulting in an overpopulation of gators in the swamps.

So was this before Casino Guitars? Also, just want to say that I'm fairly new to guitar. Been playing only for a few years and I'm 40. Guys like Baxter make me wish i started playing when i was 7. I'll never be as good as these guys and that is a major bummer for me. So if you have the chance to play young or get your kids into music, do it, you and they wont regret it.
