I remember around 11 years ago when I was just getting more into sneakers and when I got to learn about this whole tragedy this shoe for some reason really got stuck in my head and I kinda set my target on it. Prices for DS pair were insane back then but I've randomly came across auction on either ebay or amazon for used Decades in my size and condition they were almost VNDS and had like one day left with highest bid being like 250$. Unfortunately shipping to EU wasn't an option (and even if, to this day most US sellers put like 150$ on top for shipping to EU) so I was just watching it from the sidelines and if I remember correctly highest bid was under 350$ so whoever got them really lived my dream that day. Honestly I'd still want this shoe and even tho it's completely not my style I'd either wear it occasionally with some fit I'd put together or just display it and kinda use it as conversation piece.
