My story is so similar to yours. I too had a mother who died of breast cancer when I was 17 years old. It was the early 70's so she was treated with radical surgery and it didn't help, she died within a year. So as I became a young woman going to Doctors they just scared me about my chances (back then they really pushed the hereditary factor) and I felt doomed to a similar fate. She was only 42 years old when she died. I smoked and ate Burger King everyday and never related anything about my diet or lifestyle that was effecting my health. I too had some health issues that developed in my early twenties and the doctors wanted to remove an organ. Because I had recently moved to Northern CA in the mid-70's I had been exposed to natural foods and healthy diet and lifestyle. And the book Sugar Blues. I immediately changed my diet (Diet for a Small Planet was a popular book) and my health improved. In the 80's I too went to the Kushi Institute in Massachusetts and was macrobiotic for several years while raising my two children but as they became teenagers we expanded our diet still eating whole fresh foods but not macrobiotic. Fast forward I am 74 and still healthy and have mostly resisted Western Medicine. Covid was a challenge because of my age and my kids wanting me to get the vaccine. I have been following you for many years and love your recipes! I have one of your cookbooks and while at INN I saw you speak. 🤩

For me it is mainly guilt and injustice and shame I feel so bad especially with my husband, when i have to say no to smth or feel that smth is expected from me or i nam treated like i don t expect from the other or don t do myself And the shame when i don t do " enough", have a lot of needs ect I alreqdy say more often no even to respect myself but this then teiggers all these emotions and i am so stressed about or angry towards the other I already eo somatic experiencing so i feel the sensations of the emotions in my body but this doesn t help me wirh all the pain and symptoms I think mentally i have to change as well but i don t know how I already tell myself i have the right to say know, to have needs But i don t feel it at all I don t know how to switch that and therapy didn t hekp with that It made me aware of all these things but have no solution Thank you❤

I heard this over and over again from many doctors of many specialties when I was ill with Morgellons Disease. This disease is real and I am not psychotic. (Jodi Mithchell had it by the way.) I was a premed major at one time and I don't delight in getting sick. I am well now finally after 4 years of terror and holistic treatment. After months of Internet research on parasites and the different reactions they cause, I found a holistic M.D. in Colorado who identified my condition and guided me to finally healing. I found that if some doctors don't know what our problem is, they tend to INVALIDATE the patient. I wouldn't take 'NO' for an answer. It was MY health at stake.

Hey Ms. Hilary Russo, I saw the videos on your channel. Your video content is excellent. To grow & increase the view of your channel you need to optimize your videos. Inspite all of your efforts videos are not being viewed. Video SEO Score is very low. The title, Description, and Tags are not SEO-friendly. Videos are not shared on Social Media platforms and many other problems are found on your KZbin Channel. If your channel is optimized a little and if the videos are SEO friendly then your channel will rank very fast and your channel will grow. So immediately need SEO for your Videos & KZbin channel. Do you want to improve those problems and grow your KZbin Channel?

I think we all sign up for certain things (those pesky disconnections!) that we work through, that then allow us to be more empathetic to, and for, our fellow humans...Lighting pathways that guide a re-connection to self... the highest form of love... And dear Hilary, you do this so well! What a gift you are to us all and thank you for sharing and shining the light for so many others! God bless you and keep up the grrrrreat work!!!! Thank you, Hilary for this beautiful narrative. I'm sorry for your loss of Eliza, and I admire the way you have handled it and made something productive out of it. I've been through the pet loss and mourning process a few times with beloved dogs, and a cat. They were my best, most loyal and loving friends, and losing them was really difficult. But like most of us, I was able to move on, never forgetting the love and the good times. They will always have a place in my heart. We have another amazing dog now, and I can't imagine life without him. I know that someday that dreadful time will come again. But in the long run, it was all worthwhile. They warmed our hearts and enriched our lives in very different ways than people do. After watching this video, your words "She was mine, and I was hers" stayed with me. Just beautiful. Be well, and thanks again!
