Airframes with no engines, abandoned somewhere,... those are call 'movie props', that were probably meant to be destroyed after filming.

Gday mate, can only say that mate you are impressive. Flat out mate to do what you do or even be in the back seat would be a life changing event. We have these in Amberly Air Base just outside of Brisbane Aus, sadly due to a sucker punch from a drunk and head Vs concrete i lost my chance to serve by 15 yrs old. I'm 47 now and i tell ya mate my passion hasn't changed nor has my interest in military life and thanks to amazing fellas like you i can get closer than ever. Thankyou Mate your service is recognized from across the blue pond, Sean

Thanks for your service Gary!!! I was a grunt with the 196th Light Infantry/Americal Division up north in 68/69 and you Huey guys saved our butts MANY MANY times, we all loved the Huey Guys. You came thru every time we needed your help!! Got to fly into a couple of HOT LZ's with you guys. Scary as hell but your guys got us in safely and out too!! God Bless You and Thanks Again!!

My Dad "washed out" of pilot training in WW2 because of the BT-13. On a training day he was having extreme hay fever, but they made him fly anyway. He began severe sneezing during roll out and he failed to watch his speed, at the beginning of his climb he stalled and the port wing went low and as he hit the ground the wing folded up and back. He lived but with several broken ribs and a concussion. He spent 3 weeks in the hospital and they offered him a start over, he declined and became a B-24 lower turret gunner as a tech sgt. He was shot down over Romania and spent the rest of the war in Stalag Luft 1 in Barth, Germany. He always said "Be careful what you wish for." Thanks for the tour!
