... they're zombies duh ? It's pretty obvious .. to kill walking dead zombies you have to destroy the brain . Cutting off the head only separates it from the body , when you die and reanimate only the brain steam is rebooted. Watch the last episode of season 1 , all these wpisodes suck , show was good up to Alexandria .

Nah.....this scene wasn't really that disturbing. Most of the heads were those of characters that I wanted to see gone anyway. They needed about five more heads up there, in fact. Those being the heads of the woke five that were introduced and then crammed down our throats following the time jump. They single handedly turned me off of the show.

Losing a child(Sophia) grieving and recovering, having to put down a child(Lizzie) you also loved and then grieving and loving another child(Henry) only to later see his head on a spike…the spiral I would go down. Carol is a tough old bird.

A lot of people lost interest in The Walking Dead when it was no longer about the collapse of American society, but these stories which are basically just giving a relatable modern setting to ancient politics that most people struggle to understand were really the best of it. When you remember the zombies are an allegory for the starving masses of people who cannot be reasoned with, all of the things depicted happened to people in real life at some point in history, and that's how they can cut so deep into human nature with this show.

head on spikes. Seen many time and nothing special but darryls reaction. His reaction made this scene whole. And to br true seeing THOSE heads of spikes was not nice. not in any way. I usually like some drama but walking dead made it like whole different thing back when it started. was it like 2011?

Never made it to this season. Don’t know the characters. This scene is gut wrenching. The directing, production, acting and everything else is so masterfully done.

Did you make it to at least Season 4??? Because one of them is Tara. Most of the others were introduced in later seasons. For the most part they're fairly minor recurring characters, but Tara's in there, so is Carl's girlfriend Enid and Carol's adopted son Henry. Poor lady keeps losing her kids horribly.😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

I laughed my ass off seeing Henry's dumb ass on a pike.....I can't stand stupid people... it would've been even more funny if they put Henry's head on his stupid stick he always carried around...he thought he was some hero when really he was a weak dumb ass kid trying to do things after being warned 1000s of times not to do it....the show went sideways when Rick left the remaining seasons ...him and Darryl were the best characters...I liked how Rick survived but I didn't like how we don't see that til years later and the newer sequel shows

Whats brilliant about this scene was that i really thought they were going to kill off ezekial, rosita, and luke like in the comics but then they decided to kill off characters who not only werent from the comics but also had significant screen
