I believe it was around $1,200.00 for the semester.

Hi ! Thank you for your video ! I am going to KU next year. Did you have a curfew ? Because I know that in some dorms you can have one. And can we chose with who we want to be because I am going with some friends. Thank you

Hi, I did not have a curfew but I am not sure if that applies to all exchange students or just my program. We also didn't have to register with the school if we were spending the night off-campus but my program provider had a register just so they knew where we were if there was an emergency. My housing was completely scheduled through my program provider and they let us request roommates (I didn't know anyone and don't know anyone who did that) but I'm not sure if they could gaurantee you would be matched.

Hello! Here is some more general information about CJ International House. Not all suites have a balcony and I am not sure if there is any way to know this when the room gets assigned. Even in my suite, the two person rooms shared a balcony but the one person room did not have one. From the outside of the norm it looked like only 5 suites had balconies and those suites where right above each other. The roommates are female only or male only depending upon the floor. Men are not allowed on women only floors and vice versa. Likewise, there is a male only and then female only elevator. The semester I went the entire dorm was female only so it didn't matter what elevator you used. However, you are not supposed to go to a floor you do not live on. When there are both men and women living in the dorm the rules are strictly enforced and you can get punished (points deducted/warnings/possibly kicked out) if you violate the rules too much. This suite was for 5 but there are also suites just for 2 (one room each) or for 3. I was given an option of single, double, or triple bedroom (as in just yourself or one or two other roommates) just not the actual suite itself.

Are your roommates co-ed or only females?

@@globalodysseystravel can we choose ij which suit we want to live?
@globalodysseystravel4 жыл бұрын
@@eunmipark4053 I don't think so. I went with a U.S. based program provider and they were in charge of setting up the housing arrangements but I think KU picks the suites at random. I was given an option of single, double, or triple bed room just not the actual suite itself.
