soap one makes sense chemically because soap breaks up fats. i dont understand how salt would work though

This worked. I boiled two gallon pots of water. Added a ton of salt, and degreaser detergent while it got hot. Poured it down the rain and BAM 🎉

You can use chicken stock or beef stock. Just use the liquid from any protein you cook.
