Μεγάλος δεξιοτέχνης και συνθέτης . Μέχρι τα μέσα - τέλη του αιώνα που διανύουμε πιστεύω ότι η metal μουσική θα σβήσει συνθετικά , όπως έσβησε ακόμα και η κλασική μουσική στα μέσα του προηγούμενου αιώνα ( ο Prokofiev τελευταίος μεγαλος κλασικός συνθέτης ). Ήδη βρίσκεται σε αποδρομή , συνθετικά πάντα .. Τα μετέπειτα χρόνια λοιπόν θα μνημονεύονται οι συνθεσεις μουσικών όπως ο Blackmore ως κλασικές και θα επανεκτελούνται από τους βιρτουόζους του μέλλοντος .. Κάτι που επίσης τον χαρακτηρίζει και ως προσωπικότητα και ως δημιουργό είναι η σχέση του με τον αποκρυφισμό . Κυρίως στους Rainbow φάνηκε , έτσι κούμπωσε νομίζω και με τον Dio… Οι κορυφαίες για μένα συνθέσεις του - μεταξύ ισάξιων : Stargazer Speed King Stormbringer Maybe next time Mistreated Gates of Babylon Black night Lay down stay down ( βασικά όλο το Burn) Lazy Highway Star Spanish Archer Ariel / Black Masquerade ( αδικημένα φωνητικά )
