Used to see Bugs a few times a year back in the day, always a great show! That's definitely Keith Jones on bass, but don't recognized the drummer. I don't think it's Cody Norman, but those were the 2 guys who were his band when I first started seeing him.

Okay thanks, I just couldn't see a good view of him to recognize him. I knew Buddy too, he was in the band after Cody left. You may have already watched them, but if you go to "Bugs Henderson at Kents Harley-Davidson" on here, that's Cody on the drums there. There's four or five videos there too. Thank again!

There is a very bad habit on the part of some guitarists who perform live, to perform the songs giving them an excessive acceleration, so as to seem that the instrument, that is the guitar, is played by SPEEDY GONZALES. In fact, I will still say that the more the guitarist is good, the faster he runs. But this is counterproductive, since the song can not be heard in full and the channel is changed.

I'm a big fan of Michael McDonald. Saw him many years ago in the early 70s rehearsing with the Doobies at Pirate Sound in LA. First time I'd heard him and was knocked out. Over the years he's become one of my all time favorite vocalists. But I can't say I like this performance. He should have supported the original melody far more - which is a true pop classic and one of Bacharach's best - rather than wandering so far off. It was hardly even recognizable as he seemed to get lost in his own self indulgent thing.
