I have a 2014 CRF250L and love it! 13/48 gearing for me. Sucks on the highway, great in the canyons, good in the dirt. I like it as a trail bike. I was going to do the suspension but decided to put that money toward a 2013 CRF450R, that I picked up from a guy who got it from a racer. The suspension is totally set up for big motocross jumps right now and I made the mistake of taking it on the trail for my first ride. Arm pump within 3 minutes. Mind completely blown. Eats whoops like nothing. The power delivery on the 450 is ridiculous! You get tired from just hanging on to that bike. That said, the 250L is a good trail bike, and good for MX tracks with small jumps. Despite its 320lb weight, it is rather maneuverable. You can take that bike pretty much anywhere you want to go.

Seems u have some skills. Just that the other bikes are lighter and faster. Great bike to use around town and hop around the trails on.

in the description you mentioned that you are using the FMF pipe, did you mean you are using the FMF exhaust pipe ONLY? or both exhaust and muffler?

Stock exhaust in this video. And yes the fmf exhaust is louder and gives the bike a bit more power.

Is the exhaust louder than stock, does it sound better or give it more performance?

Stock suspension was killing me in the dcmx video.

I don't have the 17" supermoto setup on right now so I can't give you an accurate measurement. Just a guess on the seat height with the 17" wheels has to be at least 4" lower.

Stock suspension at dcmx. Rev limiter is not annoying to me just means I need to shift and go faster. If its topped out and I'm still in control I'm OK with it. Race tech mods present in this video. Race tech shock is a great improvement! Fork mod still needs work,still pretty soft. Keep in mind I'm trying to ride this 250l like a 450R and a 250R 2 stroke.

That's just the fmf pipe sound. Its definitely not a 250r. Check out my other vids.

Hi all crf 250L riders! pls give some advice! use to ride mx bikes.living in thailand for 15 years now, the crf 250L is build by honda here in thailand. real mx bikes are very expensive here(import tax,one get a few new crf 250L for one 250R)need a bike only for the mx track,just for fun not for race, if i buy a new 250L, reduce weight remove lights,mirrors,lighter exhaust, change gearing, springs, shocks,would it be a nice playbike on the mx track?
