While I agree this is not the wrath of God - there are, however, the consequences of actions - some call it consequential wrath. I 😮absolutely see this as the consequential wrath of God. And yes in the consequential wrath the good and the evil are effected.

Pastor Barry it took me a while to start earnestly praying for California. It had more to do with how our President pledged 100% help to California yet our VP chastised people in Appalachia about not saving for emergencies and then offered a 750.00 loan from FEMA. It stung for a awhile and then I remembered that God loves California and I am not to judge but pray. I have been praying every since.

I'm from Northern California lived here all my life (62 years) and I've never seen anything like this - I can't agree with you more. I'd like to see some charges but sadly I'm sure that will never happen.... My prayers are with everyone

Ezekiel and Daniel & his 3 friends still went into captivity even though they were God fearing men. The Bible has many examples of God using evil ignorant people for His will and to wake others up. It is awful what happened to the good people caught in the fires but we shouldn't assume that Godly people won't get caught in the crosshairs when He is dealing judgement on others

Dear Barry watching from South Africa I see all the reasons for fires but I also see a liberal state who wants to perhaps build mass housing for controlling purposes and financial gain WEF that would not stop at hurting people that they call deplorables...... I work in the insurance industry. The problems that exist in California are multifaceted. Over the past five years, the cost of building materials and labor has increased about 32 percent in California .due to regulatory constraints in California insurance premiums have been restricted to just over six percent. The reinsurance companies that are insurance for insurance companies have pulled back from the California market making it difficult to underwrite the risk in California. The fair plan is the state insurance plan for risk that would be declined by the private insurance companies. What many people do not understand is that if the fair plan becomes insolvent, the insurance carriers in the state of California will be obliged to infuse billions of dollars into this state run insurance program, creating yet another risk for private insurance companies to do business in California. It is a shame, there no good solutions .

Pastor Barry, one more thing. Homeowner's insurance policy cancellations wasn't about the insurance companies and risk. Two things are at play. Insurance companies are required to maintain a cash-on-hand vs $$$ of obligation in order to due business in the state. Secondly, Governor Newscum signed into law a maximum amount an insurance company may raise rates, though I don't know if it was a fixed amount or a percentage. So, the government squeezed out the ability of national, legit companies in favor or minor league local companies. The problem is these smaller companies would likely see this as a windfall of new business, but lacking the financial resources in a catastrophic event like this. These smaller companies will just file bankruptcy taking the premiums collected w/o paying out any benefits. So, it isn't about just making money. It's about operating within the restraints of the state laws. Once again, it's a way the government can steal your property. I see another huge exodus leaving California in the near future, but this time there won't be an U-Haul shortage. No worries, the jobs and businesses will be leaving together.
