When you have the best British blues guitarist in your band - and no slouch as a singer - you probably have it made. Clapton is good, but he never went as deep as Peter Green.

I love Faun, no question. I do think, however that Oliver talks a bit too much..he breaks the continuity of the energy by rambling. I saw them perform Umay, and was so psyched to catch that being performed, and just as the special guest is supposed to sing her part, he breaks the spell and blows the continuity by doing an un-needed introduction.., even Fatma looked lost in the headlights. Oliver..just shut up and play please:)

Just found out today that, number one - Danny existed and two - he and Peter were equal guitar partners. What a wonderful rabbit hole to fall into and explore! Both amazing

I have such gratitude and mad respect for whoever had the presence of mind to film this, preserve the legacy, and share it with the world. I discovered FM when I was 14 in 1970 with the "Then Play On," album and had a mad crush on Danny Kirwan. I still think hes brilliant on guitar and loved the Kiln House, Future Games, and Bare trees albums. The Peter Green/ Danny Kirwan days were magic. Danny was only 18 playing like a seasoned champ.

As good Green is God is, John McVie sure plays a kick ass bass.

Didn't see them til after peter and danny but heard the lp's a lot. Saw them with bob welch three or four times. I've won so many bets with younger folks i can't remember. I'm only 77.

Saw them around this time in London and they were probably the most exciting live act on the scene. Also lucky enough to see Peter Green with John Mayall a couple of years earlier.

Prototypical late 60s boogie rock. So many bands were doing this at the time. It was ingrained in the culture. A lot of it was inspired by Brit bands like Mac. But of course it all originated with the Chicago and Delta blues masters.

They showed up at Tuesday night Dollar jam night at the Fillmore in San Francisco in 1968. They were either just traveling through town or had been booked to play somewhere and had missed a date but they showed up unexpectedly that night and set up and played a whole set that just blew everybody away! By far one of the best shows I'd ever seen!
