Interesting track. You can see by the landscape that this is now NHMS.

I like Channell One's videos better. Too much "production" and too many effects here for my taste. Just give me the raw races with no frills.

Queen City speedway was one of THE tracks that guys cut there teeth to the short track game. Such a underrated facility.

I noticed MRN's Dave Moody is on this broadcast. I am genuinely curious, how many years did Dave cover this Series, and did he live in Canada for awhile, and return to the states, when he became a more regular staple with MRN?

I was there live for that one- and was one of the vast majority of people booing Moore winning. So many jumped restarts that were ignored by NASCAR but what could you do? They also let some atrocious starts go lol.

I think a lot of people do from that time. I know I certainly do, it was a spectacular little bullring. Last race I ever got to see there was the 1998 ISMA show… which turned out to be legendary. Modifieds were at their best there. They closed the place and my family has never gone to Six Flags again.

As a kid we didn't have cable and i had just got into racing in 2001. Lets just say i remember being so confused about this race having no one i knew. Not knowing it was a busch north series race.

I still would love to see a race on the schedule on pavement. Just a weekend of pavement nationals or something. Add a little extra diversity to the schedule

This is right about the time I brought my Goddaughter to her first race hoping to get her interested in my favorite sport. We sat down in the bleachers on the back straight at Seekonk and almost immediately a crash happened and one of the cars skidded to a stop in front of us [on its roof] - last time she ever came with me 😂 be funny if this was the night
