Q : can you use the 10G and 2,5 G WAN port at the same time to connect to different internet providers and use router functionalities ?

Hi, since lte backup pro has limited bandwidth and data limits, is there a way to limit the devices when i am on cellular failover device? i don't want someone streaming netflix on TV while i am on failover device. i want to limit it to my work laptop and few critical devices.

Hi, thanks for your video, I have been installed LTE pro with coloud key Gen 2, when I try to adopt tell me that i must to adopt gatway security first , I don t undestand this, can you help me thanks.
@NotHershal5 ай бұрын
@@gianluca8832 yes, because this is a fail over device from the primary WAN, you must have a UniFi gateway device associated with your network.

Can we add extra harddisc to use camera videos locally? There is only one power unit but other one is free
@NotHershal7 ай бұрын
No, I paid for the extra PDU. You cannot add a hard disk directly to the UDW. There is a micro SD slot but if you want larger capacity, you should opt for the UNVR or UNVR Pro.

@NotHershal8 ай бұрын
Can you elaborate? The ports automatically recognize PoE devices, so if you have a non-PoE device connected, it will not deliver power.

Couple questions, since it plugs into a switch port, does that mean you can have 3 internet connections? two using the wan ports, another for the LTE? Also, with two wan connections you can spread your internet usage across the two wan connections, are those options there for the LTE and primary wan? AND... las one 🙂 what cool info screens if any are there for the LTE connection? Thanks man, good video.
@NotHershal7 ай бұрын
So far as I can see, the LTE backup only provides failover. So to answer your first question, yes you can have up to 3 connections: your primary and two backups. But the LTE connection will not provide aggregate WAN with your primary connection. There isn't much info provided about the LTE when connected except signal strength and device information (IMEI, band, etc.)

As I understand it, the LTE Backup PRO requires you to provide your own sim card with a data plan. Is that correct? If so, what AT&T data plan did you go with? I have Xfinity Cable internet and we get outages during the day when I work from home. They're not frequent, but often seem to happen at the WORST possible times. I'd like to use the LTE Backup, but I don't want to pay a monthly fee to AT&T, especially if I don't use any allotted bandwidth for the month. Are you able to buy a certain amount of data, like 20GB and use that up over a long period of time and then buy another 20GB when those run out? The regular LTE Backup requires you to use a data plan that charges $15 a month for 1GB and every other 1GB is $10. I'd rather avoid that $15 monthly fee.
@NotHershal11 ай бұрын
Hi! I have these installed in businesses where the backup internet is very crucial in order to continue to conduct business, so we went with a mid-level data plan from ATT. It's not cheap, but it's one of the better backup options. Another option would be to use a hotspot, from another service provider, that has a LAN port, and configure it as your failover WAN connection.

TAKE THIS VIDEO DOWN! ... it is outdated! I just requested a refund from HostGator after struggling to learn WordPress under deadline pressure ... It is THE most convoluted and unnecessarily complex interface I have EVER seen ... a real nightmare ... And these videos only have marginal value because the authors rarely feel compelled to keep up to date with the latest version ... After watching several WP tutorials to no avail, the producers of these WP tutorials don't realize the harm they inflict on new users by leaving a video out there for 1-3 years rather than doing new VIDs to keep pace with updates ... one of the most common problems I encountered were videos that referred to screens and menu options that were not synched with the latest version ... DO NOT risk the consequences of failing a client by trying to learn this product under a tight deadline ... I had heard it before but ignored the warnings, so I'll say it again: I HATE WORDPRESS!

Hi! There are many, more user-friendly options that Wordpress, such as Squarespace, however, of the free options, I feel that Wordpress is one of the easiest. I agree that the video is now outdated, and I think i will create an updated version right after the first of the year.

@@NotHershal Yeah, but here's the thing Hershal ... I cannot build a WordPress site with the understanding it will be turned over to the client after completion? ... that would not be fair to the client. NFW, not Wordpress! Thx for the reply, wish you well Hershal.

Was helpful, however there is Host* square in your video, I have it named Name* and it says "blog or shop" do I write there "blog" or do I do it like you - write "@"?
@NotHershal Жыл бұрын
For CNAME, if you use the word "blog" or "shop" in the host/name/hostname field, then that will create a subdomain such as "shop.yoursite.com" or "blog.yoursite.com". But if you want just "yoursite.com", then you use "@" in the name field. And if you "www.yoursite.com", you'll have create that CNAME and configure it to work.
@soparotak_music Жыл бұрын
@@NotHershal Thank you, The "@" thing is not working with CNAME, it works only with IP, error shows. My domain name is only working with www , simple domain name is not working. Do you know what to do, so it goes to same content with www and without it?
