I don't know enough Russian to watch the original, but I liked this a lot more than most of the English adaptations. I've read the book before and this is the first time I've seen an adaptation that actually followed it instead of just changing the story to its whim. Xorosho!

that witch of a boss of Pam should have known better; Being against pam taking Laura at home and protect her??? Unacceptable. I would have stopped working there and take care of Laura and have Ned as a husband , and be happy. And perhaps, there are other jobs in this world.
