😢 been battling addiction pretty much all my life and yes it definitely gets worse lost everything a man can possibly lose now I’m fucking 57 years old on the brink of being homeless waste of skin us humans seem to find comfort in things that absolutely destroy us! And I think I’ve hit the bottom of the bottle I did make a step in the right direction this morning to line up treatment after divorce I went so far down the rabbit hole I lost me in the process u can only stand by the fire for so long until ur consumed and I definitely was these crazy times don’t help much either but today I made a big step in the right direction I think I hope I pray baby steps begin

I had my shortwave radio tuned to RNZ when i went to sleep one night. Woke up in the middle of my sleep with this song playing with the audio drifting in and out shortwave style. It was a surreal experience. Eventually hunted the song down going online and finding the RNZ playlist, since i did not get a chance to hear the names of singer or the song.
