As a new observer, and learning about the cultural significance of a lacrosse stick to the indigenous people. I will apologize for my ignorance as I never to how important this stick is. It is more than wood, leather, string and catgut. This is a religion. Players ask about the makers bc they believe the medicine from the maker is in the stick. That a lacrosse stick goes from cradle to grave. The significant cultural aspect ought to be taught as to not disrespect the wood lacrosse stick. Knowledge is power, and those non indigenous people ought to learn, honour and respect the people’s game from their Creator. This is from an old white guy.

I always loved my wooden sticks. I stopped playing just over years ago. Couldn't find wooden sticks in Nova Scotia anymore and played with a plastic mesh stick. It never felt quite right. I still have my 2 custom Mohawk sticks made in Oka Quebec they feel like old friends .

Hold up, this is not new technology you invented, this has been around for so long. Anyone who can string a stick can just string the sides like the top string. Also who considers you guys some of the best in the industry??? Quit lying. Ur test lacks any validity. double interlock is serving zero purposes as it is not attached to a diamond, you could have just used one. Also if it is actually superior in rebounding, it would be due to the lack of attaching the diamonds to the sidewall letting the mesh give a bit more. Pocket looks pretty good, but there’s a lot of room for improvement.

Rest in paradise legend. Not only did you shape the way we played the game from the sticks we held, but molded our appreciation for the game. Thank you Alfie.

❤️🔥 I grew up playing with plastic and metal sticks, first box then field, however my father came to have two traditional sticks, from noticeably different times I think. The older(?) having a much larger, longer and wider, pocket, the newer smaller more compact. Unfortunately both have damaged gut. I would love to learn to restore that aspect, as I have no knowledge of it, but have managed to learn to understand and shape a satisfying pocket a plastic head with mesh, or at least in a Brine Edge, but that’s nothing the same as what traditional stick makers to do. An amazing gift. Really, the first time while playing pass I managed to listen to and feel at home with a traditional stick in my hands I felt a something different than anything with metal and plastic, as fun as they are. It felt like the very edge of connecting back through time to all the collective ancestors who’ve played it under the same sun over the same fields and breathing the same air as we do today.

I remember seeing these heads at the 2016 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships in Philadelphia. That's how I found the college I'm currently attending. My brother and I got a photo with Greg there and we made a cameo at the 2017 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Championships in Foxboro on TLN's vlog.

Thanks for this issue. I'm new to the dye game, but I have not had the best luck with getting older heads to dye true black with rit dye. On newer heads I haven't had this issue. Maybe it's an issue with the plastic of the older heads?
