Well, I was once in the building, as in a July 1989 my brother and I were in Berlin as tourists. To tell the truth, it looked boring and rather "empty". The contrast between West and East Berlin was immense. However, Bergamon museum and the Potsdam palaces left a lasting impression on us. I also visited Berlin in 2002 with my wife and the Palast der Republik was in the process of dismantling. Most impressive was for us Unter der Linden.

Lovely video, so well taken where you linger on each building for just the right length of time to take in the beauty of the architecture. What a great city, deep respect for those who so lovingly restored it after the War, particularly after 1989.

OVER THE TOP I THINK, MORE LIKE A FILM SET. IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TASTEFULLY MODERN, WITH, TOUCHES OF PAST DESIGNS. AND ARCHITECTURE.

- ја рекао некада ићи али када //Бремен, Хамбург, Хановер, Магденбург, Лајпциг, Дресден, //у Праг нећу више да идем (санкције) //а онда Брно _ - то је што ја највише волим "бити туриста" //што волите ви - то ви видите сами себи "слободан свијет можете ма што хоћете" - али ко гаранитира да је све добро _ - и не волим њемачку полицију ни власти - не волим их срести ни чути да постоје

This lays on my way to work. Visited the town 3 years ago and on my first walk through the city I decided to move there. Voila one year later and I am a proud East German living in the Altstadt

Dresden main station (Hauptbahnhof) is the largest station, but the station Dresden-Neustadt on the other side of the river Elbe is also served by ICE express trains.

Ja, Dresden ist eine ausgezeichnete Stadt... Die Perle Europas, es ist schade, dass die Briten und die Amerikaner diese Stadt zerstört haben, es ist sehr schade... Nun, nach dem Wiederaufbau erwachte sie zum Leben... Das erste Mal Ich kam nach Dresden, kam aus der Kleinstadt Laasnig, in der Nähe von Grimma, ich hatte eine Hautkrankheit aus Entzug und wurde zur Behandlung nach Dresden gebracht.... Als ich diese Stadt sah, war ich von der Schönheit dieser großartigen Stadt berauscht, während ich dort war Nachdem ich einen Monat lang behandelt worden war, fand ich Zeit, in die Stadt zu fliehen und einen Spaziergang zu machen ... Dies war 1987 der Fall, das Raketenregiment der UdSSR diente in der GSVG in der Stadt Laasnig, er verließ das Irrenhaus für einen Monat, also von der Armee in Dresden

@@LudwigStudios-w9e Nein, weil es ca. 3 Uhr war in der Nacht. Es gibt aber Videos davon. Beispielsweise von der benachbarten Anlegestelle der Dampfschifffahrt.

Vielen Dank für die aktuellen Aufnahmen von Dresden. Vorher habe ich ein Video angezeigt bekommen von Aufnahmen von 1800- 1945. Somit komnte man vergleichen. Sie Architektur der Innenstadt Richtung Bahnhof (Postplatz, Prager Str.) steht jetzt etwas konträr zu den historischen Gebäuden. Aber man "gewöhnt sich dran". Schön auch, die noch intakte Carolabrücke gesehen zu haben, die ja jetzt zur Hälfte IM Wasser ist. Den Anblick hat man nicht immer😅.
