The LSU defense will improve way way more than what the offense regresses. Mason Taylor will be the biggest benefactor to Nuss being the QB. Bo Davis needs to develop a 5-6 man rotation at DT that's just not a liability. Eat up blocks and let the LBs make the plays.

Stoops makes 9 million and is 35-55 in SEC games and 15 of those wins have been against Vanderbilt or South Carolina but this is by far the best roster he has ever had. Once again he has 4 cupcake games, Southern Miss, Ohio, Vanderbilt, and FCS Murray State. Last year it was Ball State, Akron, Vanderbilt, and FCS Eastern Kentucky. He just needs to beat Louisville and one other SEC team to make a Bowl.

I'd say the only certified rockstar coaches in CFB right now are Kirby and Dabo. Both have won multiple natty's. There's a handful of coaches that are a National Championship away from reaching rockstar status: Ryan Day, Sark, Mike Norvell and Lincoln Riley.

RRS has been a great rivalry game but when you are the only two competitive teams in your conference nearly every season it kind of loses its hype. Let's see how it's going in a conference with twice the competition.

Dabo is not at the level of Smart. You can’t be a rockstar coach and have the losing seasons like Dabo is having. Beginning to think the only reason he won is because of Lawrence and other special players he had . He doesn’t belong up there with Kirby . Kirby is on a level by himself

All Ole Miss fans are positive for Lane, and his personality fits for the Rebels. Bama fans would not allow him any slack if he was there.

A lot of fans dislike Lane Kiffin but he is very likable to transfers and High School recruits.

Gonna be quite frank with you. I really like your show. I even tried Wickle's Pickles when I was back in the US last year and like them. What I appreciated and enjoy most about your show are that you can offer insight into to teams, players and coaches that I don't get a lot of other places. You are uniquely positioned as a former SEC player and current broadcaster that know quite a bit about the insides of college football. That's what I want to hear. I can't keep up with every team in the SEC, but listening to your show helps me understand other teams better so I know what to expect when my team plays them. It gives me a better feel of who is for real and who is for show. I really like the way you honor players by sharing personal stories about them, e.g. Ray Davis. I can go anywhere to hear a bunch of takes and opinions. Maybe this works better for the metrics & algorithms, but I have to wonder with so many others doing that, is it sustainable. Lean into the niche that few can compete with you in. That's just my 2 cents. And not having the WLOCP on your top 5 rivalries was a miss. I understand it's opinion, but pretty much the same reasons you excluded it, were all excepted in allowing the Red River Shootout.

As an LSU fan, my favorite SEC rivalries are: Iron Bowl, OU/TX, Egg Bowl, FL/GA, Texas vs. Texas A&m, once they start playing again, LSU/Florida, LSU/Bama, LSU vs. Auburn the Tiger Bowl, Auburn/Georgia, Arkansas vs. Texas will be fun to watch, TN/FL, Ole Miss vs. Arkansas and Texas A&M vs. Arkansas have been fun to watch.

You hit the nail on the head regarding MSU and Mississippi. The fan bases themselves couldn't be more different. State fans are normal down to Earth people who are generally nice and welcoming and try to get along with everybody. Meanwhile Mississippi fans are snobby self centered elitist who tailgate with fine china and chandeliers and they only tolerate minorities. To be fair, there is a large segment of middle to lower class people who root for Mississippi but they tend to be drawn to the "only tolerates minorities" side of Mississippi fans. The elitist fans look down on those Mississippi fans because of the income and education gap. But they share the love affair with confederate symbolism so they have that in common. I think that sums it up.

So Ga v Fla & LSU v ATM aren’t huge rivalry. Smh

Had to turn this clown video off after RRR was number 5, lol. Closer games than any other rivalry game in the SEC, also more top 25 and top 10 matchups than any rivalry in the SEC. It takes a back seat to no rivalry in the entire country, save maybe Michigan-Ohio State.

I'm 40, so I'm not exactly young, but my rivalry was always LSU v Arkansas, Battle For the Boot. Of course, as an LSU fan, Saban leaving then ending up at Alabama and kicking our a$se$ for the next 15 years, there will always be a hatred of Alabama that far surpasses any others.

I’m very interested to see what UT and OU look like as the season progresses. SEC is more difficult week in and out than Big12. Doesn’t mean they won’t win games and be successful, but it will wear different.
