You know you’re old when you hear WEC and still think Robert’s Arena. 😬 For those that don’t know: WEC is owned by the Roberts Family. Back in the day (because I’m old now 😉), it was called Robert’s Arena.

It’s actually our business to retrain youngsters, not that I should have to explain my family’s situation. I wish I could be handed everything in life, but that’s just not how it works! We have worked very hard to be able to have the things we have, but thank you for your concern though!!

Hi I love your videos💕 I'm trying to also find horses to try there but I'm having a really hard time finding people💔 do you know anyone or have any tips? (looking for a 1.20cm jumper. ready or training at this height is both fine) I'd really appreciate it if you'd reply thx🤗🤗
@leaandbellagrace50883 жыл бұрын
Hi! Are you looking in Europe? If so, I used facebook groups and I also found the barn Kastaar was at through ehorses.com. The biggest thing I would suggest if you cannot try the horse is to really make sure the horse actually exists. I found several scams while searching. It can be difficult to find connections and reliable people, but as long as you are very thorough (make sure to get x-rays!!), I’m sure you’ll find a great horse! I looked at mostly youngsters who are just starting to jump, so I do not have a ton of references for horses already at that level. If you have a trainer, I would also suggest having them watch the horse flat and jump so you have a second opinion as well. I think it is vital to have someone more knowledgeable with you whenever purchasing a horse. Good luck!
@averycrook62293 жыл бұрын
thanks so much for the reply and even more the advice💙 i'm lucky enough to actually be able to go see these horses in person but my trainer won't be able to come along, but I will definitely have her look at the videos, thanks. i've actually had a chance to check out the web site you recommended and it's absolutely amazing so much potential on there, so thanks again🤗🤗 one of my biggest concerns is shipping. Was it as big as a hustle as everyone says it is? also what shipping company did you use. and were you happy with their service? was it relatively well priced too? once again, thanks for the reply, usually my questions go unanswered lol🤧🤧 and I think I speak for most of us when I say we're anxiously awaiting for new content💜💖
@leaandbellagrace50883 жыл бұрын
It depends on where you end up finding the horse from. I used the shippers that Kastaar’s old owners recommended. Buying a mare or stallion is much more complicated than a gelding. Geldings are typically about $1000-2000 cheaper to ship, and their quarantine time is much shorter. I recommend seeing which company has the best rates from the country your future horse is coming from. Usually if the person you are buying from frequently ships to the US, they will have some companies that they think are better. I can’t remember which company shipped Kastaar over (my dad handled that for me lol), but I was very happy with how they took care of him. Most equine airlines have good reputations and are trustworthy, make sure you read some reviews and ask the owners :) Both of my horses are on a mini vacation at the moment, but I want to make some content with them once they are back to full work!

You guys are a great match. You should share your lessons with audio of your instructor teaching you. It’s such a great way for other riders to learn. This is a link to a video on the set or pelvis and the way to move it in the sitting trot. I noticed a few things and this video may help you help your horse through your position and using your skeleton. I know it has helped a few students to see it slowed down. Hope it helps. Looking forward to more lessons! m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHSngZmbec-Jj6s

do the bits not hurt them in their mouth
@leaandbellagrace50884 жыл бұрын
They can if the rider isn’t careful and maintain soft hands, if the horse is in pain, mine at least, will throw a fit until the pain stops. And every horse prefers different bits, so the bits each horse likes fits with their mouth type, and how strong they are in the mouth :)
@JustHorseyMie4 жыл бұрын
