Nice video. I’d love to work on bikes full time, I’ve always done all my own bikes. How do you price up a job, like tell them how many hours it took after or give a price and suck it up if it takes longer. Obviously you didn’t know what was wrong with this bike 1st

Hi I just bought a 2024 crf450r and haven't rode it yet just started it and let it idel and my pipe at the front of the head gets red hot with in a few minutes I know that's not normal what do you think ?

Me and my friends all got those radiator caps and it was making all of us loose coolant and over heat so instead we just went back to the stock caps and it’s way better

He did say he was getting a lot of coolant overflow before adding the Tusk cap, that’s why he got it thinking it would correct the issue, but I think it just made it worse holding the cooling system at a much higher pressure

I have had no issues with the cv4 caps. I usually do the hoses to match from them just to look good but if you get the correct pressure cap that whatever bike calls for from factory like 2.0 bar you'll be good paying attention to that. You can try other things like the idle adjustment just be careful and be sure you know what you're doing with anything you do. I had a bike that made the header pipe glow bright orange at night & shoot out oil from the overflow hose, Adjusted the idle perfect where it still takes off easy on the clutch and its good to go! You can see videos on how to properly do that but usually turning the knob one click at at time towards the handlebars will make the idle increase, turning one click at a time towards the exhaust makes it drop down. You do that until it sounds right and you can still take off on just the clutch if the clutch cable is adjusted in properly.. Should be right on. talking about the "choke knob" instead of pulling it out it'll turn and sometimes people accidentally turn em going for the choke pull & throw everything off.... I don't ever mess with anything like that unless it needs an adjustment these modern 4 strokes don't really need anything but to kick it over easily, you don't give no gas or nothin you shouldn't have to pull the choke. My bike always fired right up anywhere with just 1 good kick alone. Suzi power!

My 2018 will overflow coolant when I ride it up and down my street for 5 mins in 80° weather
