Fun fact : both Alien & Aliens are technically both ripoffs of two legendary 1950's sci-fi films!!!! Dan O'Banion wanted to remake a newer version of the movie "IT , The terror from beyond space" except made it way different & added a million new ideas that have never been on screen or thought up before like the Aliens unique life cycle & James Cameron on the other hand sneakily stole his entire idea of Aliens from the movie "Them" !!!! He just didn't tell anyone 😂😂😂 If u watch both films u will see the similarities , especially in the movie "Them" Funny how one got his idea from a movie called "It" that's a about one monster & the other got his ideas from one called "Them" which is about several monsters 😂😂😂 Alien - It Aliens - Them Makes sense when u think about it 🤔

Instead of being disappointed in Universal's technicians, I'm just going to pretend the coffin was supposed to be tiny. If anyone knew how to photograph a miniature model, and make it look full size, it should have been these guys. Don't tell me my heroes could make a mistake like that.

@drudru1987 Actually, 'Friday The 13th'[1980] takes place in 1979, 'Friday The 13th 2-4' take place in 1984, 'Friday The 13th 5: A New Beginning' takes place in 1989, 'Friday The 13th 6: Jason Lives' takes place in 1990, 'Friday The 13th 7: The New Blood' takes place in 1997, 'Friday The 13th 8: Jason Takes Manhattan' takes place in 1998, and 'Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday' takes place in 2003.

It's debatable, as I explained in the video. Either you believe the caption in the first movie saying it was Friday, June 13th, or you believe Pamela's gravestone from The Final Chapter saying she died in 1979. There wasn't a Friday the 13th in June in 1979, only 1980, and Since Sgt. Tierney is heard saying it's Friday the 13th there's more evidence for it being 1980 than 1979. The first movie was also released in 1980, and with the caption also saying it is "the present," it doesn't make sense for it to be 1979.

@@drudru1986 There's also a theory that the calendar is just slightly different in the F13 universe just to explain that 1979 typo.

The way Mr Spielberg, is obsessed with having John Williams, doing music for his movies. Then if Steven, directed the movie then why did Jerry goldsmith, do the music score?? _ but not Mr Williams???.

Because John Williams was busy scoring E.T., which was released one week after Poltergeist.

Same same. But different. I saw THEM as a kid and never saw the similarities with Aliens when I saw that in theaters many years later. Same with Terminator and that episode of the Outer Limits. Similarities doesn't mean that they were the same story.

perhaps what many of these film producers are actually trying to do with their "own original works" is praise previous ones... now this can be a bad or good thing depending from the perspective in which you look.
