No just the white, you just add a shut off to it so it disables the sensor. I have to say after the many years since this video this is not the way to go. Smoke switches and smoke tunes damage your engine but a tune is a much better option than doing this.

when i did the smoke switch it also had efi live but the smoke switch ran seperate by itself so it would work without a programmer BUT IT IS HARMFUL TO THE TURBO I have to tell that because I didnt know it was when i did it. After using the switch and later on a full smoke tune my turbo blew and my engine started running rough.

yea it was just something i did in a hurry. it was stupid tho ended up repairing it and just getting it tuned for smoke which was cool but messed my truck up lol never again

my turbo was completely shot the wheel inside came off so it was freely wingling in there, i could have just had him replace the wheel but i wanted a bigger turbo so i saw this as my opportunity lol

@@jarrodblouin on an lb7 absolutley, only reason i didnt do it myself is i just didnt want to deal with the downpipe bolts lol but it shouldnt be too hard replacing an lb7 turbo as long as you feel confident in doing it and youve done some research and watched a replacement video

This video was made way before tik tok was even a thing. Other comments already addressed this issue. I was just trying new things with my videos I don’t have the original footage otherwise I would have reuploaded it without the music. I didn’t think people would be coming to my video for educational purposes which is why I didn’t try to clearly catch the sound. I know it’s awful and I’m sorry you wasted your time watching it.

I actually turned the music off when it was doing it at 6:40 anytime the music is playing you can’t hear it in the original video which is why I put the music.

When I buy another duramax, had to sell the white one lb7 just isn’t for me. Looking for another lbz. I’m probably not gonna upload gaming videos to this channel anymore tho because many of the subs are from duramax content

The chirp sound? That’s just the build up of pressure and it being released by the turbo. Turbo bark is the more common term for it. I like the turbo bark of an lbz more than the lb7 tho

Anything short of bigger turbo will only do so much on an lb7. You could get bigger mouth piece for it and bigger exhaust but idk how loud it’ll get. I know fleece cheetah turbos make lb7s have loud turbos similar to a 6.0 power stroke. If your wanting just more turbo bark tuning and giving it more power will help that

On the white truck I just have the stock piping but muffler deleted. When I had my blue one I had a 4 inch straight pipe. 4-5 inch pipe is usually what a lot of people run and just whatever tip you want my 10 inch tip helps the truck echo more lol

Yea nothing compared to my duramaxs, but she doesn’t even have 300 hp I just thought it was cool since I was like 18 when I did it and she was my first car I got from my dad after he passed

I made a mistake with the video and The music, was trying new things when I was filming and uploading regularly because I was bored. My bad my guy. I think someone else said this too I actually didn’t think it would overpower the original audio as much as it did.

At 6:40 you can kinda hear it but I should have spaced the music further out so you could hear more

Possibly you’d have to find the right wires to the turbo. But be careful cuz it does take a toll on the engine eventually

I had an after market pump but it was low fuel rail because I didn’t have the plug and the tunes were crap

Might have some really clean tunes, and did you completely unplug the sensor? Cuz the only reason mine works is cuz splicing the wire kinda tricks the turbo. Are you trying to get like billows of smoke?

if you have an lly like i do, you can just use the turbo actuator plug, tap into the connector and it turns off turbo vanes, same concept.

Yes extremely bad, would not recommend doing this if you want your turbo and truck to last. I did it because I was dumb and bored and didn’t see a proper video on how to do it.

I lost touch with the guy that made it he kinda like disappeared, and I no longer have the truck sadly.
