Yes the banana trick is a great way to grasp the difference in yellows at level 9 and 10. I've heard it a lot throughout the years. The first time was from the expert at the clairol hotline when I was 14. I was calling to ask what toner to buy and she asked me that. Turned out it was neither, it was gold. She suggested medium ash blond 😆

Thanks for bringing that up...this is one of my earliest videos done on a synthetic mannequin that you you can't color. I have newer content with before and afters. And more on the way. I'll recreate this video and show a before and after!

It was oligo pro blacklight! The toner was a level 7 blended into a level 10 on the ends
