Their twist lift needed more height. I liked her better with Bruno Massit for that reason alone. But i love the music here though.

Just to be able to stand up on steel-bladed boots on cold rock-hard ice is something, but to do this kind of thing that Scott and Tessa do is well beyond description, you'd have thought this kind of beautiful coordinated connection would have bonded them for life....... forever, but no.?

Scott and Tessa float in the ice ring, in an elegant and perfect interpretation of a tango, in total unison with each other. They were wonderful and difficult to surpass due to the intimacy and the ease way they had when dancing with each other.

Just rewatched this tango dance chhoreographed by Marina Zueva. It has truly has stood the test of time, it's Oct 2024 and it STILL looks current. Really miss this calibre of skating. When Virtue & Moir retired it was the end of a spectacular era in ice dance.

Thank You for all the hours of entertainment . I have had great joy watching you both grow into two amazing adults . I congratulate you both on a stellar career and bringing back the art of dancing on the ice and both of you have paved a way for every person can follow their dreams and turn them into beliefs and with a heck of hard work and dedication you to can make it a reality just like Tessa And Scott . This doesn't only apply to ice dancing because this method will apply to whatever choices you make throughout your entire life . カナダのカート・ブラウニング選手は初めて4回転を成功させた人でしたね。それがバンクーバーオリンピックで「4回転否定派」側に なっていてプルシェンコを批判していた時は驚きました。まあ4回転論争というのは北米開催でジェフリー・バトルかライサチェック を金メダルにするために何年も前から用意されていた既定路線だと言われていました。ジェフリー・バトルは賢いからそこからさっさと 離脱して距離を置いたんでした。残ったのが4回転を飛べなくなっていたライサチェックで、ロシアが長年金メダルを取り続けていた ことに北米はカンカンになって怒っており、どうしても強引にプルシェンコを否定してライサチェックで金メダルをやるしか道がな かったと言われています。長野からバンクーバーまで何大会も見ていなかったので、4回転を飛ぶと評価が下がるという暗黙のルール が出来上がっていて本当に腰を抜かすほど驚きました。カート・ブラウニングが羽生選手のショーのために振り付けたプログラムを 羽生選手が失敗した時は彼に恥をかかせたとスケート板は炎上したこともありました。
