The unit operates by simple counterbalance. There is a solid steel block as the ‘starter’ weight, to which others are added as required to lift heavy materials like granite and quartz . When lightweight top is used (such as timber) you can remove all the small weight strips, leaving only the block, and then attach some of the strips to the UPPER moving element to make it a little heavier. In other words it’s like a see-saw. By redistributing the weight (as above) you can create the perfect smooth speed of lift.

I want to order one. My 3cm quartz counter is already installed and I am afraid the stone contractor cannot cut the piece out with the right tolerance to make a perfect fit. There are no scrap pieces and there is a nice grain in the stone that i would like to keep. ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE. Can you do the job? Thanks Philip

Nigh on impossible when your top is already fitted. To save the cutout piece with matching grain would require the precision of a machine guided water jet in factory setting. One for your next worktop. Worktop templater - UK

Band is tight. Vocals are off. Martin's band has this down tight. Abrams, on guitar, is killer here.

That's because Andy Powell is a backup vocalist at best/ not a lead singer/ I don't know why they can't put their differences aside while they are still able to play/ the clock winds down !!!###

@@JohnnyNation Agreed with a capital A! Marty underestimated Andy's zeal and selfishness. Andy only has this gigging band to make money off. He has no other skills. Marty is a producer, studio wiz and has his own band and other things. He did not foresee Andy coming in so hard in court, but Andy won. So now all Andy has is the "Name" - that is it. He will starve and lose his house in West Haven if he does not gig. Marty lives in Sussex and has a decent life and lots of friends. Andy is in a different position. I used to live not far from him when I went to school in New Haven.

Hi Ian. Thanks. It may surprise you . . that the answer is an I-phone 11. 🤪 lol! The ‘secret’ to such clarity however, is the super-cleaning of the lens before filming, which many people forget, and, of course horizontal hold not vertical. Your stills today were equally clear and perfect. Hence my genuine comment. 👍

I think the "weaker" link in the band is the drumming. This is nowhere near Upton's level, unfortunately. The drummer's playing is far too basic and is too "laid back". The bass tone is also a bit "fat" and far less direct that Turner's bass, which was much more "in your face". Though the band does do a good job overall.
