When hitting the bag you want to train hit the bag as if you are fighting someone at least your height. Then make a mental note on if you’re going for body shots vs head shots. Practice your feints, blocks, and counters on the bag as if you’re fighting someone and you see them. It’s good to shadow box away from the bag and approach the bag so your used to to person moving around like the would in real life. Practice like punches are coming to your own head and body as well. Practice moving in and out/ slip counters. Ultimately you just don’t want to be “hitting the bag”. You simulate fighting as much as you can.

Work on your legs before everything. Also head movement. Hitting the bag is good but you are throwing random stuff be more mindfully practice.

@@FASTMONEYYREALL2 nah its an usual stuff that mma guys use to say, and its bs af. I can explain it in two intsances. FIrst, all of heavy brain damage you ever see in sports is in boxing. Why there is no UFC fighters with serious damage? Because UFC is like you get hit, opponent jumps on you, hits you few times and its over. No counting, nothing, ref just watch if you can def on the ground (9/10 times you cant) and then he pushes the guy out of you and its over. Yea there is more blood, more cuts, but its way more safter than boxing, despite what people want to think. In boxing you get hit, you go down, ref just counts you. Your natural instinct is to get up, so boxers get up. And what do you think, that they are ok after 8 second count because they walk straight? They ok in next round? Ofc they aint, brain is still shooked. How many boxing fights you have where boxers get up like 3 or 4 times across several round? Boxing is way, way more dangerous than MMA. UFC is just more fancy of a show, thats it, but its safe as hell compared to boxing. Second argument is street fight. If you will go to boxing gym you have to learn way less stuff than on mma gym. MMA guy has to cover so many things on every plain that you need several years to be anything good, semi-good in MMA. 5 years is bare minimum. In boxing after 1 year of honest training you are far post basics, you know your strenght, which punch is your best, etc. Pair on the streets 2 guys, one boxing guy that trains boxing for a year, other mma guy that trains it for a year. MMA guy is still on basics with most of the stuff. 1 year is not even close to cover anything beyond basics if you need to box, kick, muay thai stuff, ground stuff, wrestling, grapling, bjj, everything. Even if you are extremeley talented, you wont be anything after a year of MMA. And I know that most of people do not agree with that, it does not matter. Every pro that is in fighting for years now that, it aint no secret. Go to boxing gyms guys, after a year you will know more than enought to know how to beat a guy in street fight scenario, forget about things like you would want to ground and pound, or forget that your leg kick will swipe guy's legs like you seen on pro fighters videos that fight for 15 years or more. You gonna attempt to leg kick a guy in a bar that is 10kg heavier then you, he wont even react to it, he will smack your face and you will look goofy with your mma, best for streets xd

Salvation does not come from any works of our hands so none may boast, as Paul says. The key is to understand that salvation comes not by our actions but by our faith, and true faith leads to acting faithful. Slipping up and sinning will still happen, but it is regretted, not desired. It is something to repent of, but freed from the law by Christ's atoning sacrifice, we are allowed to remain in good relationship with God despite our failings because of His glory. Nothing we do can save us, it is only Christ's sacrifice on the cross and His covenant that any who believe in Him will be saved that saves us. Faith alone does not mean false belief, it means faith, and faith leads to active pursuit, not ignorance and neglect. That is the message delivered through Christ's teachings, Paul's words in Galatians, and James's words in James.
